Debuts:

After spending 2 months in the abyss, Sexy For Me finally debuts. This is yet another Jason Derulo banger. The saxophone production is super fun and reminds me a lot of Talk Dirty, and Jason sounds great as always. I don't see this song doing well, but who knows.

Lady Gaga has collabed with Doechii on RUNWAY from the upcoming Devil Wears Prada 2 movie. And oh my, this song is such a bop. The dance-pop production is super fun, and Lady Gaga and Doechii both sound great together. There's no doubt this song will become a huge hit.

Biggest Jump Of The Week: Alex Warren - FEVER DREAM [+8]

Biggest...DRRRRRRROP!!! Of The Week: Tie between SIENNA SPIRO - Die On This HillFreya Skye - silent treatment, & Tame Impala/JENNIE - Dracula (Remix) [-4]

Starting off, we have the long-awaited return of Olivia Rodrigo. Well, long-awaited for everyone except me who was glad for the break from her. She announced her new album 'you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love', and we have the first single from it drop dead. I don't know how to feel about this song yet. I don't know, there's just something about this song that seems forgettable. The production is pretty upbeat, and Olivia sounds good, but I don't remember what this song sounds like 5 seconds after the song is over. Maybe it will grow on me, who knows.

Demi Lovato is back with Low Rise Jeans. This song slaps. The dance-pop production is super fun and Demi sounds great.

These next 2 debuts are very underwhelming. Tyla has collabed with Zara Larsson on SHE DID IT AGAIN. On paper, this collab should be amazing. But unfortunately, it's not. This song is just so repetitive. The song doesn't evolve at all. The production is kinda a mess. And there's weird random high-pitched effects on their voices throughout the song. Overall, this song is just a mess.

sombr is here with his new song Potential. What happened to him? Homewrecker was such a great song. How did he regress so much with his song? This song is just a weird mess. The production is super weird and all over the place. And sombr has weird filters on his voice. Overall a very weird song.

Well, we have a new Hits 1 To Watch, and he stole my name! We have some rando named Ethan Burdick here with I Get the Picture. I mean, this song isn't great, but it's not the worst. I'd take him as our next 1TW over Sienna Spiro any day. This guy has a great voice, but the production is just so insanely generic. But I do have hope this guy can make a great song some day.

Hits 1, you don't have to pick up on every godamn ZAYN song. He replaces himself for the millionth time with Side Effects. I guess this is slightly better than Sideways, but it's still super mid.

Oh wow, a Lewis Capaldi song that doesn't make me instantly want to vomit! Do I dare say Stay Love is a good song? The production is a bit on the slower side, but the production is still beautiful. And Lewis actually sounds good for once and doesn't sound like his usual broken pencil sharpener self.

STELLA LEFTY is here again with Boston. This song is pretty forgettable and not as good as Thinking Bout You.

I'm sorry, but who is this last person? We have some random nobody named JAZMIN with Cup of Tea. Apparently she grew up in LA and New York and also Monaco, and that's all I can find out about this woman. I may not know who this lady is, but this song kinda slaps. Hitbound was so bad this week, I'm forced to put some random nobody as my purple song.

Aww, Baby Blue left when it was just starting to grow on me and went #1 on my personal charts. Reply to This also deserved better. And everything else was mid.

Mr. Blurb It All:

We lost GO and The Visitor. Good riddance to The Visitor, it deserved to flop. GO deserved better, but it started to fade on me, so whatever.

Can iloveitiloveitiloveit do something and not just rot in the bottom 5?

At least Babydoll escaped the bottom 5, but the bottom 6 isn't that much better.

Luckily A Couple Minutes seems to be flopping. Die On This Hill might also be on its way out since we have a new 1 To Watch.

Nice to see FEVER DREAM make a huge jump into the top 10.

Uhh, why is The Great Divide back in the top 10?

I just might be getting tired of I Just Might at #1.It's been #1 for 8 weeks now. Surely Homewrecker will go #1 next week, right?

That's all for now, see you all next week!

  1. That was actually a saxophone used in Sexy For Me, not a trumpet
