Debuts:

2 reentries this week. First up is the return of Mr. Know It All. I'm not sure why it left in the first place, it was still in the top 20 in pop radio. This has grown on me a bit. The production is a bit basic, but it's still pretty upbeat and Teddy sounds good here. Hopefully this ends up doing better its second time around, which I'm sure it will.

This last reentry was a nice surprise. New Religion is back. This is still an amazing EDM song. Unfortunately, I don't know how much longer this will last on its second run, since this doesn't seem to be doing that well on pop radio. But hopefully it can stick around for a bit longer.

Well, we had a nice year break from new Gracie Abrams music, but it was only a matter of time until she came back. Her new album Daughter From Hell will be releasing on July 17th, and we have the first single from it Hit the Wall. Mikey Piff said that this was the "poppiest" song on the album. And if that's the case, then I don't have high hopes for this album. The production here is insanely generic and boring. Gracie sounds decent here, I guess. I just know that this song is going to get very annoying, very quickly.

Oh joy, a random new single from SWAG II 8 months after it was released. Justin Bieber skips hitbound entirely and debuts with SPEED DEMON. This might be the "best" song from SWAG or SWAG II. But that's not really saying much. The production is actually pretty upbeat here and Justin sounds pretty good. Now the question is, will this spend 4 and a half months rotting in the bottom 5 of the countdown like YUKON did? Hopefully not, but it would be pretty funny if it did.

Countdown Extra: Noah Kahan - Doors

Biggest Jump Of The Week: Madonna/Sabrina Carpenter - Bring Your Love [+11]

Oh joy, just what we needed, more Olivia Midrigo. What on earth did I just listen to? the cure might be her most forgettable song to date. The production is basically non-existent, and Olivia doesn't sound that great here, plus this song is way too long at nearly 5 minutes long. Yeah, can this song not become a hit please?

We really did not need more Midlessi Rose either. The Sabrina Carpenter song with the same title is more memorable than this. This is forgettable as hell.

Just when Charli XCX was starting to make good music again, she decided to make whatever SS26 was. The song is about how the world is gonna end in summer 2026, or something idk. The lyrics are trash and sound AI generated. The production is upbeat I guess, but still very forgettable,

For the love of gracious Hits 1, stop picking up on every single Niall Horan song! He's just getting worse and worse. I just got done listening to End of an Era, and it was so forgettable I already forgot what it sounded like.

Finally, a half decent debut for once. Newcomer R&B artist H33RA makes his Hits 1 debut with SHOOK. This song is pretty solid. It kinda gives off mid 2000s Chris Brown or Usher vibes. The production is pretty fun and he has a great voice. This song could end up growing on me at some point.

Blurb Demon:

We lost Die On This Hill, Roommates, SWIM, and That's When You Know. RIP to That's When You Know, it deserved so much better. SWIM was extremely mid and thankfully it ended up flopping. Roommates was great but it was starting to get a bit old. And good riddance to Die On This Hill. I have no idea how this lasted 6 months on the countdown.

Nice to see WHERE IS MY HUSBAND join the 30 week club. Even though this song is extremely old, I do still enjoy it.

Bring Your Love had a massive 11 spot jump. I will gladly take it.

Thankfully, it looks like we are all saved from Harry Styles going #1.

The Great Divide did not need to jump into almost the top 5.

I was not expecting FEVER DREAM to jump into the top 5, but I'll gladly take it.

How is I Just Might still #2? This really needs to go the hell away.

That's all for now, see you all next week!
