But none of these songs were forgettable as this song. The winner of the 2025 Oops! I forgot award goes to...
Yeah...this only lasted 2 weeks on the countdown and was completely purged a week after it left. I completely forgot this was on the countdown or even existed until I was looking at the countdown songs list for this award. This song was forgettable as hell and I have no idea how it even made the countdown.
Well, that does it for now. The Hits 1 top 30 of 2025 if it made sense post should hopefully come out sometime next week, so keep an eye out for that. See you guys next time!
Only two songs got blocked from #1 this year?? How many usually get blocked in a year?
ReplyDeleteYeah 2025 was very light with songs getting blocked from #1. Usually there's around 6 songs every year that get blocked from #1.
DeleteYeah, I thought it was light.
DeletePossibly only one if wimh hits #1 in 2026
DeleteWhat do you think is harder? Getting the same number of countdown debuts as 06/01/19 or getting the same number of HitBound debuts as 05/13/23?
ReplyDelete5 hitbound debuts is harder than 2 countdown debuts
DeleteDo you think 6 debuts on a 45 song countdown is harder than 10 debuts on HitBound nowadays?
DeleteFive debuts nowasay is the harder
DeleteEthan can you let me know what you think of Benjamin Steer - Trophy and Quinn Dorian - Blind Spots? They're both debuting on HOTF tonight and I think you'll like them.
ReplyDeleteThese were both super forgettable. Trophy was the slightly better one.

ReplyDeleteI surprised Vella - All My Love didn’t make your most forgettable 2025 song or the honorable mentions
ReplyDeleteIt's more my personal most forgettable song of the year, and I loved All My Love and didn't forget about it.
DeleteDo you think 6 debuts on a 45 song countdown is harder than 10 debuts on HitBound nowadays?
ReplyDeleteThat's enough, I'm not answering that. I literally answered that question already a hundred times for you when I was on the Discord server.
DeleteSorry
DeleteLast night’s mascara deserved better. Also, if the oops I forgot awards were eligible for HITBOUND, would Beauty School Dropout’s Heart Away qualify?
ReplyDeleteI completely forgot Heart Away existed. It would qualify if I included hitbound dropouts.
DeleteEthan would you mind unblocking my spotify? I have a post request and I don't want it spoiled in case you actually want to do it. Thanks!

Folks, This is why you get Apple Music.
Deletewhat post request is so special that you can't tell me here?
DeleteIt's not that it's special, idk it just would seem better to surprise everyone.
DeleteBut i guess i'll go ahead. You should make a #1 timeline of what the #1s would look like in 2025 if Hits 1 made sense/was a better station. It would probably be your opinion mostly and you could put some thought into it but maybe like a what-could-be #1 timeline would be cool. Lmk if it's feasable and what you would end up trying to do.
It's a good idea, but I'm not really sure what songs I would use, plus I have a backlog of other posts I want to make first.
DeleteFair
DeleteI Rally like you are post ethen
