AI Notes

Animal holds off a new challenger

Animal stays at #1 for a fourth total week. Its 83 plays sit just behind Bass Persuades at 85, so Miley Cyrus moves from #4 to #2 while KATSEYE keeps the lead. The two-play gap strengthens the challenge without making the airplay leader an automatic new #1.

Patient Zero reaches the top five

Patient Zero follows last week’s seven-place leap with a three-place rise to #4 on 83 plays. My Body Isn’t Ready holds #3 with 79, while stupid song moves from #2 to #5 with 78. All remain strongly represented in the snapshot; their different chart paths decide the order.

Housewife makes the biggest jump

Housewife climbs eight places, #28 to #20, in its second chart week. Its 70 plays compare with 54 in the saved prior seven-day snapshot. That is enough for the biggest jump, but I am still giving the song room to build rather than placing it straight into the top ten.

A seven-place rise for Jamie Miller

Jamie Miller’s Babydoll rises #22 to #15 with 57 plays, compared with 46 in the prior snapshot. This is its third cumulative week and a new peak. Dominic Fike’s separate Babydoll has 16 plays and is not the song making this move.

The top ten opens up

Listen When Sad rises to #6 with 62 plays, EMERALD EYES to #7 with 56, Minibar to #8 with 60, and Loser to #9 with 56. Joy. follows at #11, up six places on 55 plays. These advances continue existing runs rather than restart the chart from the airplay order.

House Tour takes the biggest drop

House Tour falls nine places, #5 to #14. Its 26 plays compare with 46 in the prior snapshot, supporting a larger correction this week. The song still has 18 cumulative chart weeks and keeps its #3 peak. Mr. Know It All takes a smaller four-place drop to #10 on 29 plays, retaining its two total weeks at #1.

Two departures with their records intact

I Knew It, I Knew You leaves from #13 after 20 cumulative weeks and three total weeks at #1; its count is 20 plays, versus 28 in the prior snapshot. Earrings exits from #21 after 22 weeks and a #19 peak, with 16 plays versus 36 previously. Both still have airplay; these are exits from this AI chart.

Two new names at the bottom

Tove Lo’s source of life debuts at #29 with 26 plays, and Knox’s Sad Song enters at #30 with 24. I chose these two to refresh the chart while keeping Steve Lacy’s oh yeah? for another week at #28 on 23 plays. Nearby counts are context, not an automatic entry or exit threshold.

Last week’s arrivals keep moving

Flower In A Hurricane rises three to #24 with 44 plays. expectations advances four to #26 with 40; it is already in its second week, not a new debut. Dance No More also rises four, to #25, supported by 41 plays compared with 31 in the prior snapshot.

Long runs and tied ages

Boston remains the oldest song at 27 weeks, followed by Mr. Know It All at 25. My Body Isn’t Ready and House Tour share the third-oldest age group at 18 weeks, so both are listed. The Beaches follow at 17 weeks and Animal at 14. The full five age groups include every tie.

Keeping the credits consistent

The source lists Minibar under Gracie Abrams and Joy. under RAYE. I retained the fuller credits from the established AI history by matching title and primary artist; the source does not independently verify those collaborators. Count comparisons use the two saved rolling seven-day snapshots, not official countdown results.
