Exits:
John Legend/JID - Dope
Tate McRae - what would you do?
Jack Harlow - Dua Lipa
Ashe - Hope You’re Not Happy
The Chainsmokers - I Love U
Dope and Dua Lipa were okay. Hope You’re Not Happy was bad, Hits 1 needs to stop trying to make Ashe a thing. I Love U finds itself in the abyss. What would you do got robbed. It was an amazing song and deserved to debut.
Calvin Harris And Dua Lipa collab again since 2018's One Kiss. This song is going for an R&B vibe. This song's good. It's a lot like Over Now with The Weeknd (remember that song?). I think this song will debut.
I don't really have much to say about the other songs. They're okay, and I doubt any of them are gonna debut.
Abyss:
Just A Cloud Away - Pharrell
I Love You So - The Walters
Don't Forget My Love - Diplo, Miguel
Get Into It (Yuh) - Doja Cat
Boyfriends - Harry Styles
I Love U - The Chainsmokers
Music For a Sushi Restaurant - Harry Styles
this is what falling in love feels - JVKE
This Love (Taylor's Version) - Taylor Swift
HANDSOMER (Remix) - Russ, Ktlyn
I Love U has entered the abyss, so it will probably never debut. Why Hits 1!?
Boyfriends is a very slow song. It sounds like a song that should be played at a funeral, not on pop radio.
Music For A Sushi Restaurant is the best song I have ever heard in a while. I hope it debuts, but it probably won't.
Oh the misery, everybody wants to be my blurb:
We lost House On Fire. It was a good song, but very forgettable. I don't think anyone's gonna remember it a year from now.
Really Hits 1? You had to bring back To The Moon? I was almost certain I Love U was gonna debut. But no, you had to resurrect To The Moon for some unknown reason.
Why is Love It When You Hate Me still here? It's been #28 for like 4 weeks.
The moment you've all been waiting for. Enemy was the biggest drop of the week, and it's in the bottom 5 of airplay. This song is hopefully going to leave soon.
This is what I think the countdown would look like if it was still 45 songs long, based on airplay (https://xmplaylist.com/station/siriusxmhits1/most-heard?subDays=7) and my personal opinion.
#45 I Love U - The Chainsmokers (Debut)

#38 Fingers Crossed - Lauren Spencer-Smith
#37 Ghost - Justin Bieber
#36 I Love You So - The Walters
#35 The Motto - Tiësto, Ava Max
#34 Light Switch - Charlie Puth
#33 THAT'S WHAT I WANT - Lil Nas X

#27 Honest - Justin Bieber, Don Toliver (+2)
#26 Flowers - Lauren Spencer-Smith (=)
#25 TO THE MOON - Jnr Choi, Sam Tompkins (Re-entry) (Really Hits 1?)
I made a video on the Hits 1 Weekend Countdown history for the Chainsmokers. Hope you like it! If you want me to make a video for your favorite artist/any artist, comment below.

New Arrivals:
Wow, Supermodel by Maneskin might be the best song I've heard in a while. This song is influenced by 90s rock bands like Nirvana. The opening guitar rift is from Smells Like Teen Spirit.
I'm not a fan of rap music, Post Malone, or Roddy Rich, so I'm not the biggest fan of Cooped Up.
Last is 5 Seconds Of Summer with Me, Myself, And I. This song is good, but nothing special. It's defiantly better than Complete Mess.

Conor Maynard is back after 10 years with PGNL. If you didn't know, Conor actually had some songs on the countdown back in 2012, Vegas Girl and Turn Around with Ne-Yo. Go listen to Vegas Girl, it will bring back memories of the summer of 2012. This song is pretty good, but I doubt it will debut.
After Numb Little Bug, Em Beihold has Too Precious. Numb Little Bug is starting to fade on me, so I think I like Too Precious more.
John Legend is back after 5 years with Dope. I'm not the biggest fan of John Legend's voice (I didn't really like All Of Me), but this song is alright.
Harry Styles' new album Harry's House just released, and I am blown away. You can tell the songs were inspired by 80s artists like David Bowie. My favorite song from the album is Music For A Sushi Restaurant. It reminds me of Fame by David Bowie. Late Night Talking is also a good song. As It Was is starting to fade on me.
We have some Tik Tok star named Stephen Sanchez with Until I Found You. It's a very boring song and reminds me of The Walters I Love You So.
88rising/Bibi is back for some reason. The Weekend spent 4 months in hitbound. Best Lover is okay, but I think I like The Weekend more.
Last is Tai Verdes with 100sadsongs. Tai Verdes is one of my least favorite singers, AOK was super annoying and was one of my least favorite songs last year. I don't know how he did it, but 100sadsongs is even worse than AOK. 100sadsongs is very boring and uninteresting. At least AOK was interesting to listen to.
This week we lost In The Stars, This Is What Falling In Love Feels Like, and Where You Are. These songs all sucked and I'm glad they're gone.
She's a 90s superblurb:
This week we lost The Motto, To The Moon, and Hold My Hand. The Motto is an amazing song, but was starting to get old, so I'm okay that it's gone. To The Moon was a horrible song and shouldn't have been anywhere near the radio. Hold My Hand was just another piano ballad (I'm not a big fan of piano ballads) but Lady Gaga's voice was alright.
Can Enemy leave already? This song is starting to get on my nerves.
Sweetest Pie is also starting to get annoying.
RIP Love It When You Hate Me. It's had the biggest drop for 3 weeks. This song is starting to get old, so I don't mind if it leaves.
Maybe You're The Problem is an amazing song. How is it only at #21?
Sunroof keeps climbing. This song is amazing and is the perfect summer song. I was sad when this song left hitbound and I thought it was gone forever. Then I randomly started hearing it on the radio and it debuted on the countdown the next week.
To no one's surprise, Harry Styles is #1 for a second week. Hits 1 loves 1 Direction members, and especially Harry Styles. Will it break the #1 record? Who knows, but we didn't think Shivers would either.
This is what I think the countdown would look like if it was still 45 songs long, based on airplay (https://xmplaylist.com/station/siriusxmhits1/most-heard?subDays=7) and my personal opinion.

Hello and welcome! This is my first blog post. With the recent news of Beluga discontinuing his weekly posts, I decided to create my own blog. I post the weekly countdown, as well as random stuff like if the countdown was still 45 songs and videos. Also, I am currently going through the long and pain staking process of going through old Wikipedia articles and Blogger posts to find all the weekend countdowns. The earliest date I could find was Dec 25, 2010, so that's where it starts. Want to know what the countdown was a random week in 2012, or just want to experience some nostalgia? Just go to the sidebar on the right and pick the date that you want. Sit back, relax, and soak in the nostalgia.
