Hey guys! Wow, it's hard to believe it's already 2025, time just flies by. This marks my 4th calendar year of writing countdown reviews, which is just insane. Thank you guys for all the support all these years, it really means a lot to me. Yeah, this was not a very good week because Sabrina the Clown decided to return to #1 this week, which also marks something that hasn't happened on the weekend countdown since 2018, which I will get into later. BIRDS OF A FEATHER has been in the top 5 since September 14 and the top 10 since August 10. Is this ever gonna go away?
Ok, seriously, why did Taste jump back up to #1? No one asked for this. This was bottom 5 in airplay all week. We don't need overplayed 2024 crap still being #1 in 2025. It's time for a new song to hit #1. Good riddance to this song, and to Sabrina the Clown. Also, this marks the first time a song has had 4 different runs at #1 since Panic! At The Disco - High Hopes in December 2018, so congrats I guess.
