Top 10 Most Annoying Songs of 2025

 

Hey guys! Wow, it's hard to believe it's already December. It seems like just yesterday the year just started. With December here, it means it's finally time for the 2025 year end posts. Before I share my best/worst list of 2025, I want to share my top 10 most annoying songs of 2025. These are songs that weren't necessarily bad, but were overplayed, overrated, inescapable, or just downright annoying. As always, this is just my opinion. If your favorite song of 2025 ends up on this list, don't come crying to me. Alright, let's get started!

10: Benson Boone - Sorry I'm Here For Someone Else

I used to really like this song. Then it got really annoying really quickly. So help me if I have to hear "she walked up to the table with an order of fries" one more time...

9: SZA - BMF

This song is just so repetitive. It's just the same guitar strum over and over and the song never evolves at all. This song died fairly quickly, which saves it from being higher on the list.

8: Ariana Grande - twilight zone

This song wasn't really that "annoying". It was very boring and underwhelming and got way too overplayed, and even today months after it left the countdown, it's still being overplayed.

7: Shaboozey - Good News

I don't even need to explain why this song was so annoying. This was a big step down from A Bar Song (Tipsy) and had no right to become as big as it did. It almost lasted 30 weeks on the countdown, and it was still on the survey 3 months after it left the countdown.

6: Ravyn Lenae - Love Me Not

This song goes in the extremely annoying category. What's up with her voice? It's so weird and high pitched. And the production is just some weird indie soul thing. How did this last 22 weeks and get into the top 4? Good riddance to this song.

5: Gracie Abrams - That's So True

This was just downright annoying. Gracie's voice is so annoying and she's trying to sing way too high. And the acoustic production, while it is upbeat, it's extremely generic. And how on earth did this song manage to go #1?

4: Sabrina Carpenter - Bed Chem

True story, I thought this song was called "Bad Chem" for 3 months. This song isn't that bad, but it is extremely annoying. The synth pop R&B production, while cool at first, got very annoying. And Sabrina is singing way too high and almost sounds like a dying chipmunk.

3: Sabrina Carpenter - Busy Woman

I literally could not escape this song every time I turned on the radio this year. The synth pop dance production seems fun at first, but quickly gets very annoying. And like in Bed Chem, Sabrina is trying to sing way too high.

2: Sabrina Carpenter - Manchild

It's all just so familiar, but what do you call this song?

Stupid

Or is it slow?

Maybe it's useless?

But there's a cuter word for it, I know

Annoyingchild!

1: Miley Cyrus - End of the World

This song had potential. Miley making another 80's style song? Midnight Sky had an 80's feel and was an incredible song so I had high hopes for this song. But my hopes were very quickly crushed 5 seconds into the song. I don't know what happened to her voice in the song, but it's so bad. She literally sounds like she has a dying frog in her throat when she's singing. Her voice is so raspy. And the production is insanely forgettable and generic. Thankfully this song died very quickly and hasn't had a spin since it left the countdown.
