Machine Gun Kelly is back with a bonus track off of Lost Americana called times of my life. Apparently, this was written back in 2018 and was going to be put on Tickets To My Downfall in 2020, but was ultimately scrapped. But then he finally decided to drop it today. This song is actually really good. The acoustic alt rock production is really solid, mgk sounds great, and the lyrics are also great.

Ugh, the Mid Laroi replaced himself with a song that's even more mid. This song is not great at all. It's just extremely weird and boring. It's going for some 80s soft rock production, but it's kind of a mess, and The Kid Laroi is oversinging way too much and sounds awful. 

It's been a hot minute since we've seen solo Nick Jonas on Hits 1. He was last seen when 2Drunk dropped out of hitbound back in 2021. He's releasing a new album Sunday Best on Feb 6, and we have the lead single Gut Punch. This is just decent. The production is super underwhelming and boring, and Nick just sounds alright here.

KATSEYE are here with Internet Girl. I didn't know how to feel about this song on first listen. But after hearing it a few times, I've decided I like it. This song is very weird, to say the least. But it's the good kind of weird and kinda slaps. Hopefully this ends up being a hit.

Lastly we have a collab between Doechii and SZA called girl, get up. This song is about Doechii's struggles in the music industry about being African American and being called an industry plant. I'm not normally a fan of these types of slow afrobeats songs, but this song is actually really good. This song has some chill R&B vibes that's really catchy, and Doechii and SZA sound great together.

So much for WHERE IS MY HUSBAND's chances at #1. It did not deserve to get blocked from #1.

back to friends jumped to #2. If this hits #1, it would be the slowest climb to #1 in the top 30 era. But not all time, since Andy Grammer's Honey I'm Good took 32 weeks to reach #1.

Yeah...this only lasted 2 weeks on the countdown and was completely purged a week after it left. I completely forgot this was on the countdown or even existed until I was looking at the countdown songs list for this award. This song was forgettable as hell and I have no idea how it even made the countdown.
