Gracie Abrams just announced her new album "Daughter from Hell" releasing on July 17, and we have the first single from it Hit the Wall. Mikey said this was the "poppiest" song on the album. If that's the case, then I don't have high hopes for this album. The production is pretty boring here. It starts to pick up a little towards the end, but not really by much. And Gracie doesn't sound that good here. Yeah, I can tell this song is going to get very annoying very quickly.
On a more positive note, we have a collab between Martin Garrix and Ed Sheeran called Repeat It, that apparently has been in the works since 2014. This is a really nice EDM song. It has a great drop and Ed sounds great. Hopefully this can become a hit.
I did not have a Machine Gun Kelly and Wiz Khalifa collab on my Bingo card for 2026, but here we are. girl next door is alright. The production is pretty upbeat and they both sound good together, but this seems very forgettable.
Geeze, Drake just released 3 albums on the same day. Ain't nobody got time to listen to all that! He's here with I guess is the first single 2 Hard 4 The Radio. The title doesn't lie, this song is a bit too hard for the radio. This song is actually pretty good. It's a lot better than Nokia. The production is pretty fun and Drake sounds good. I wouldn't mind if it became a hit. But if it does, it better not spend 3 months rotting in the bottom 5.
Ugh, we really did not need more Kevin Jonas. Little Things is even more boring than Changing. Changing at least had somewhat of a beat. This song is so painfully generic it hurts to listen to.

2 hard 4 blurbs:
Well, no debuts means no exits, so nothing to talk about there.
I should go over the obvious. The first half of the countdown was a complete snoozefest. The biggest jump and drop were only 1 spot. Luckily, the top half was a lot more interesting
Well, I guess there goes When Did You Get Hot's chance of going #1. It looks like Sabrina Carpenter is gonna lose her 8 song streak of every countdown song going #1. Every countdown song of hers since Feather has gone #1.
For the first time since Nov 15, 2025, WHERE IS MY HUSBAND is no longer in the top 10. That took way too long.
I was worried Harry Styles could make a miraculous jump to #1, but luckily that didn't happen, at least for now.
I Just Might fell to bottom 5 in airplay. How is it still #2 on the countdown?
Holy hell, Elizabeth Taylor made a huge 13 spot jump to #3. It's grown on me a little, so I wouldn't mind if it was our next #1 song, since Homewrecker is starting to get a bit old.
That's all for now, see you all next week!
