I Let An AI Create A Picture For Each Countdown Song Part 3

Hey guys! Wow, I can't believe it's already been 2 years since I last made an AI creating a picture of each countdown song post. I usually do these once a year to see how far AI has evolved, but I didn't do one last year. Click on here to see part 1: https://zestpond.blogspot.com/2022/06/i-let-ai-create-picture-for-each.html and here for part 2: https://zestpond.blogspot.com/2023/06/i-let-ai-create-picture-for-each.html

OpenAI just released their new 4o image generator, and I've been having a lot of fun generating different images. And I thought why not bring these posts back. The new image model does text almost perfectly and has the ability to create consistent characters just by uploading a picture of them. I think all these album covers turned out really well. AI has evolved a ton since I last made these posts in 2022 and 2023. Going back and looking at those blurry blobs that barely resemble humans, and we thought it was so cutting-edge and realistic at the time. In a year, I'll probably go back to this and laugh about how bad these look. Alright, enough yapping, let's get started!

Doechii - DENIAL IS A RIVER

JENNIE/Dua Lipa - Handlebars

Dasha - Not At This Party

Lizzo - Still Bad

Halsey - safeword

LISA/Doja Cat/RAYE - Born Again

Chappell Roan - The Giver

Kendrick Lamar/SZA - luther

ROLE MODEL - Sally, When The Wine Runs Out

Doechii - Anxiety

Tate McRae - Revolving door

Benson Boone - Sorry I'm Here For Someone Else

The Weeknd - Cry For Me

Selena Gomez/benny blanco/Gracie Abrams - Call Me When You Break Up

Lizzo - Love In Real Life

Alex Warren/Joe Jonas - Burning Down

ROSÉ/Bruno Mars - APT.

Gigi Perez - Sailor Song

SZA - BMF

Gracie Abrams - I Love You, I'm Sorry

Lady Gaga/Bruno Mars - Die With A Smile

Lola Young - Messy

Tate McRae - Sports car

Shaboozey - Good News

ROSÉ - toxic till the end

Teddy Swims - Bad Dreams

Gracie Abrams - That's So True

Lady Gaga - Abracadabra

Sabrina Carpenter - Bed Chem

Chappell Roan - Pink Pony Club

And AI isn't just good at making album covers, it's also great at making fun comics! Here's a bonus comic I generated about what I think will happen on the countdown Saturday.

Alright, well that does it for now. Hope you guys enjoyed this post. This was actually really fun to make. Let me know if you have any other ideas for AI posts I can make. Again, this is just scratching the surface of what this new image model can create, and there's so much more it can do.

1. Chappell Roan - Pink Pony Club [+1] {18w} [4 weeks at #1]

Debuts:

Lizzo brings her second song on the countdown with Still Bad. This is pretty fun, and I like the alt vibes this gives. But this isn't nearly as good as Love In Real Life.

Chappell Roan also brings her second song on the countdown with The Giver. This is so much fun. I really like the early 2000s country vibes this gives off, and Chappell sounds great as always. I have no doubt this will do well on the countdown. Maybe even #1?

Doechii just straight up stole the melody of Somebody That I Used To Know of this next song. But Somebody That I Used To Know is one of my favorite songs of all time, so I'll allow it. The production of Anxiety is amazing, and Doechii sounds great as always.

almost monday - can't slow down [14; 2nd time]

The Jonas Brothers are back with their first solo song in 2 years with Love Me To Heaven. This is pretty fun, and the Jonas Brothers sound great as always.

We had a lot of weird songs on hitbound this week. The first one is some alt singer named sombr with undressed. The production is pretty upbeat, but this sounds so insanely generic.

Jon Bellion is back after having that hitbound dropout Kid Again last year with WASH. I quite liked Kid Again. Wash, on the other hand, kinda sucks. The production is super weird and boring and Jon Bellion doesn't sound that great.

Selena Gomez has finally released her first new album in 5 years, and here she is with Bluest Flame. I quite like this. The dance club production is really fun and Selena sounds great despite having weird vocal effects on her voice.

JENNIE is back yet again with like JENNIE, which was produced by Diplo. This slaps so hard. I really hope this replaces that forgettable piece of crap Handlebars on the countdown.

And we have one more rando because why not. R&B singer Ravyn Lenae makes her Hits 1 debut with Love Me Not. Apparently there's a Rex Orange County remix of this song, because the most forgettable artist in the world definitely needed to collab on it. This is pretty fun and her voice is great, but this is very forgettable.

Oh great, a collab between 2 of my least favorite artists of all time. Jack Harlow and Doja Cat collab on Just Us. This is fine, I guess. Not the worst song I've heard from these artists, but this is very forgettable. Side note, what is up with artists taking album cover photos in restaurant kitchens? It looks like they took the photo in the same kitchen as Nicki Minaj's Red Ruby Da Sleeze.

Exits:

Justice/Tame Impala - Neverender [6]

Ryann - Dirty [2]

JISOO - Your Love [5]

Cil - You're a Liar (You Love Me) [2]

None of these will be missed. But Dirty is on the survey, so it could start getting spins soon.

2025 Total Dropouts: 50

Estimated total for 2025: 173 (+2)

Abyss

Gotye/Kimbra - Somebody That I Used To Know

Avery Anna - Mr. Predictable

Damiano David - Next Summer

Lady Gaga - Garden Of Eden

Sabrina Carpenter - Busy Woman

Tyla - PUSH 2 START

Pitbull/Bon Jovi - Now or Never

Eminem/Jelly Roll - Somebody Save Me

Hayes Warner - Oh!

Kendrick Lamar - Not Like Us

Billie Eilish - WILDFLOWER

Vella - All My Love

Lady Gaga - Disease

Harry Styles - Daylight

I love that Hits 1 is playing Somebody That I Used To Know again, probably because of the Anxiety sample.

Somebody that I used to blurb:

We lost Mr. Predictable, Timeless (again), and Love Somebody (again). Good riddance to Mr. Predictable, it really did not need to debut in the first place. But it still seems to be in the abyss, so have fun rotting in the abyss for 20 weeks I guess. Timeless was super mid and won't be missed. And good riddance to Love Somebody also, it was getting very old and annoying.

Can DENIAL IS A RIVER not rot in the bottom 5 please?

Sports car just jumped to the top 10. This has faded on me a lot, and I completely forgot it used to be a purple song.

APT and Die With a Smile are finally starting to drop hard. They're getting quite old and really need to leave the countdown soon.

Oh joy, Bed Chem jumped up to #2 and will probably go #1 soon. Welp just what we needed, more overrated Sabrina the clown at #1. Abracadabra thankfully jumped to #3 so I really hope it can get #1 over Bed Chem.

Thank the lord Pink Pony Club took back #1 from That's So True. Both songs are starting to get annoying, but That's So True really didn't deserve #1 in my opinion. It's probably gonna join the ranks of Wonder, Mr Perfectly Fine, Overdrive, and others of songs that we all forgot went #1.

That's all for now, see you all next week!

JENNIE and Dua Lipa collab with Handlebars. This is just fine. Everyone sounds great but this is extremely forgettable. Love Hangover deserved to become a hit instead.

Halsey finally debuts with safeword. This should have debuted last week, but better late than never I guess. I really love the punk rock production here, and Halsey's screaming actually works really well with this type of music.

First up, Chappell Roan has released her first new song in almost a year called The Giver. Wow, it's hard to believe it's been that long since she's released new music, because she's been milking a 2 year old album. The Giver is easily my favorite song from her thus far. The country production is really fun, it reminds me of 2000s Taylor Swift when she was still a country singer. And Chappell sounds amazing as always. I have no doubt this song will be a huge hit.

Lizzo is back again with Still Bad. This is pretty fun, I really like the alt vibes this gives. But this isn't as good as Love In Real Life.

BTS member j-hope has his first solo song on Hits 1, and he collabs with Miguel of all people with Sweet Dreams. This is pretty fun and everyone sounds great, but this is very forgettable.

After not picking up on You Happened which released a few weeks ago, Hits 1 decided to pick up on 50/50. I usually love Knox, but this is just extremely forgettable.

Side note, I had no idea Dove Cameron and Damiano David have been dating for 2 years now until Mikey mentioned it in Hitbound...

Exits:

  • Lady Gaga - Garden Of Eden [1]
  • Daniel Seavey - Lose Me Like You Mean It [1]
  • LISA - FXCK UP THE WORLD (Vixi Solo Version) [2]

Garden Of Eden seems to be in the abyss and could debut soon. FXCK UP THE WORLD was just alright. And good riddance to the snoozefest Lose Me Like You Mean It.

2025 Total Dropouts: 46

Estimated total for 2025: 171 (-4)

Abyss

Damiano David - Next Summer

Lady Gaga - Garden Of Eden

Sabrina Carpenter - Busy Woman

Tyla - PUSH 2 START

Pitbull/Bon Jovi - Now or Never

Eminem/Jelly Roll - Somebody Save Me

Hayes Warner - Oh!

Kendrick Lamar - Not Like Us

Billie Eilish - WILDFLOWER

Vella - All My Love

The Marías - No One Noticed

Lady Gaga - Disease

Harry Styles - Daylight

WILDFLOWER has officially been pushed to radio so I thought Hits 1 would let it reenter. But I guess not, Hits 1 would rather it rot in the abyss for God knows how long...

Garden of Blurbs:

We lost Slow Motion and Oscar Winning Tears. Oscar Winning Tears was great but was getting kind of old. And good riddance to Slow Motion, it was super forgettable.

Is Mr. Predictable ever gonna do anything besides rot in the bottom spot of the countdown? I literally said this was gonna happen when it debuted.

This is getting ridiculous. Sailor Song refuses to go away. It's already spent more weeks on the countdown than Flowers, the #1 song of 2023, and is one week away from tying the number of weeks Blinding Lights had.

Nice to see Sorry I'm Here For Someone Else and Love In Real Life getting big jumps.

Good News really did not need to reenter the top 10.

I Love You, I'm Sorry barely got any spins this week yet it's still in the top 10.

Welp, I predicted wrong. That's So True hit #1 despite only being #5 in airplay, which gives Gracie Abrams her first ever #1 song. This song is getting quite annoying, and I really hope this doesn't stay #1 for too much longer.

That's all for now, see you all next week!
