Debuts:
Latto is back along with Lu Kala with Lottery. I hated Big Energy from last year, and luckily this is much better than that. The production is insanely fun and catchy and Latto and Lu Kala both sound great.
Bebe Rexha is finally back with more solo music, with Heart Wants What It Wants. The production is super fun and groovy and Bebe sounds amazing as always.
Niall Horan is finally back making music after 2 years with Heaven. Niall is my favorite of the One Directioners, and this is another banger from him. The production is going for more of an alternative feel, and it's really cool. It kind of reminds me of Want Want by Maggie Rogers from last year. And Niall's voice is amazing as always.
Countdown Extra: Patrick Martin - Dandelion Eyes
Biggest Jump Of The Week: Lizzo/SZA - Special (+12)
Biggest DRRRRRRROP!!! Of The Week: Tate McRae - uh oh (-7)
Last year's #1 song: Ed Sheeran - Overpass Graffiti (2/5 weeks at #1)
Favorite song last year: Eddie Benjamin - Weatherman
Least favorite song last year: Imagine Dragons/JID - Enemy
Most missed song: Plain White T's - 1,2,3,4 (2009)

Gracie Abrams - I Know It Won’t Work (Debut)
We have a 17 song hitbound this week for the first time in a while.
24kGoldn is back with Bite. I usually like 24kGoldn but this song ain't it. The trap production isn't great, and 24kGoldn doesn't sound good either.
Halsey is back with Die 4 Me, and luckily this is way better than So Good. Apparently this song came from Post Malone's 2019 song Die For Me, which Halsey was a feature for, and this song is her verse extended to a full song. I really like this one. The production is really cool and Halsey sounds great.
The Jonas Brothers are back...with a fragment of a song!? Yes, Wings isn't even 2 minutes long. This song is pretty good. The production is pretty fun and the Jo Bros sound good, but it just leaves me wanting more.
Gracie Abrams is back with I Know It Won’t Work. This is a bit on the slower side, but it's still a nice song.
Great, just what we need, more beabadoobee! She's back with Glue Song. Death Bed from 2020 sucked, and so does this one. This is super weird and boring and beabadoobee's whisper singing is terrible.
Now saving the best debut for last. Nicky Youre's back with Shut Me Up. Yes, this song is such a bop, this is definitely his best song so far. The production is insanely fun and catchy, it reminds me a lot of You Can't Hurry Love by Phil Collins, and Nicky sounds amazing as always.
Exits:
Dove Cameron/Khalid - We Go Down Together {2}
Lauren Spencer-Smith - Best Friend Breakup {2}
We Go Down Together sucked, and Best Friend Breakup finds itself in the abyss.
Abyss:
Avery Anna - Narcissist
Stephen Sanchez/Em Beihold - Until I Found You (Remix)
P!nk - Never Gonna Not Dance Again
Lonnie - One Night Stand
The Weeknd/Ariana Grande - Die For You (Remix)
Lauren Spencer-Smith - Best Friend Breakup
Havanna Winter - Death Wish
Harry Styles - Daylight
Daylight is back in the abyss. This has actually grown on me a bit so I don't mind if it comes back.
Heart blurbs what it blurbs:
We lost I'm A Mess, Sex, Drugs, Etc, and Eyes On You. They were all great but were starting to get kinda old, plus we have a better Nicky song entering hitbound, so I don't mind they left. Also Eyes On You ties the highest exit in countdown history with Kiss Me More.
Kill Bill and Where do we go now have grown on me a lot, and have been upgraded to green.
uh oh took a huge tumble out of the top 5, hopefully this leaves soon.
golden hour has been here for almost 6 months now, this really needs to leave.
Love From The Other Side needs to do less dropping and more jumping.
Enough had a good run, but now it looks like it's gonna start dropping.
Bloody Mary is now up to #7. Okay, then.
3 new entrants into the top 5. Yay to Nonsense and 10:35, and boo to Nobody Gets Me, Kill Bill should be there instead.
Flowers is once again #1 for a third week in a row. It's faded on me a bit, but it's still better than Lavender Haze, so I don't mind it's blocking it.
That's all for now, see you all next week!
