Debuts:
7 debuts this week, let's get started!
First up is South African singer Tyla with Been Thinking. And oh my this is a bop! It's Break My Soul but 1,000x better. The house production is super catchy and Tyla's voice is amazing.
Love Again debuts, no not from Dua Lipa, this time it's from The Kid LAROI. This isn't as good as Dua's Love Again, but it's still amazing. The acoustic production is really catchy and The Kid LAROI actually sounds pretty good.
I'm not too thrilled with this next debut, but I still like it. It's Gracie Abrams with Where do we go now. The production is decent but kinda underwhelming but Gracie Abrams does have a really good voice.
The 1975 finally has another song on the countdown since 2016's The Sound, with I'm In Love With You. This song has really grown on me a lot these past few weeks. This is just so insanely catchy and fun and singer Matthew Healy sounds great.
Sam Smith, Calvin Harris, and Jessie Reyez team up for I'm Not Here To Make Friends. I really love this one. This is similar to Over Now and Potion but 1,000x better. The disco production is insanely catchy and Sam and Jessie both sound amazing.
Making its way out of the abyss is Ed Sheeran with F64. This is a tribute to Jamal Edwards, an entrepreneur who helped launch Ed's career. This is a really good rap freestyle. I love it when Ed raps, like in Don't and 2step, and I love this one too. The piano production is simple but good and Ed sounds great as always.
Also out of the abyss is Lady Gaga with Bloody Mary. This song is from 2011 (of course) but apparently became popular recently from the Netflix show Wednesday. This isn't the best Lady Gaga song, but it's still really good. The production is really cool and Lady Gaga sounds great, but I'm still not thrilled about a 12 year old song debuting.

Lastly is INJI with THE ONE. I have no idea who INJI is, but this song is actually really good. The production is super groovy and catchy and she has a really great voice.

Fall Out Boy - Heartbreak Feels So Good {1}
RIP Heartbreak Feels So Good, you will be greatly missed.
Abyss:
Havanna Winter - Hollywood Forever
Avery Anna - Narcissist
How come you like Gracie Abrams voice but not Billie Eilish's? Theyre pretty much the same vocally
ReplyDeleteBruh, Gracie Abrams' voice is a million times better than Billie's raspy, whispery voice.
