Debuts:
I know it won't work, VOID, and Happy re-entered. I really hope Happy can stick around for a little while longer this time. And I'm not really sure why I know it won't work and VOID needed to re-enter over some other songs like Never Ending Song and Eyes Wide Shut.
The Weeknd replaces himself, along with Playboi Carti and Madonna, with Popular. Madonna finally gets her first song on the countdown since 4 Minutes in 2009, and Playboi Carti makes his countdown debut. This has grown on me a lot. It's really fun and everyone sounds great.
The Jonas Brothers bring their second song on the countdown with Summer Baby. This is a really fun song and a perfect summer song.
OneRepublic is back with Runaway. This has grown on me a lot. It's super catchy and Ryan Tedder sounds great as always.

Biggest Jump Of The Week: Dua Lipa - Dance The Night (+13)
Biggest DRRRRRRROP!!! Of The Week: Latto/Lu Kala - Lottery (-7)

Least favorite song last year: Megan Thee Stallion/Dua Lipa - Sweetest Pie

Gracious, 11 debuts/re-entries, let's get started!
Area Codes re-entered. I guess I'm fine with this.
What It Is re-entered, this time the solo version without Kodak Black. I like this version better because Kodak Black ruins the song.
Well, we all thought The Show by Niall Horan was gonna debut, but instead we got If You Leave Me. This isn't as good as Meltdown or Heaven but it's still pretty good.
Shawn Mendes is back with a song we thought would be about the Canadian wildfires but instead is about his breakup with Camila, it's WHAT THE HELL ARE WE DYING FOR. He apparently only wrote the song in an hour. I gotta hand it to Shawn, a song he wrote in an hour is better than half the songs on Hits 1 right now. This isn't amazing but the production is alright and Shawn sounds good.
Sam Smith and Madonna team up for VULGAR, which is basically Unholy part 2. The production is really cool and Sam and Madonna both sound good.
Nicky Youre is back with Good Times Go. This is pretty good but far from his best. The production is decent but catchy and Nicky sounds good.
We have a second song called Angel on hitbound, this time from PinkPantheress. The production is pretty catchy and PinkPantheress sounds good.
Great, just what we need, more Jessie Murph. Expect this time it's actually good. She and Maren Morris collab for Texas. This is a pretty nice country song and Jessie and Maren both sound good.
Bailey Bryan is back with IYKYK. If you remember she had that hitbound dropout last year, MF with 24kgoldn. This is a fun little song and Bailey sounds good.
Madison Beer is back with Home To Another One. The production is weird but kinda catchy and Madison sounds good.
Lil Durk and J.Cole (who makes his Hits 1 debut) collab with All My Life. This is a pretty good rap song and the 2 sound pretty good.
Exits:
Maroon 5 - Middle Ground {3}
Bakar - Hell N Back {4}
Lewis Capaldi - Have You Ever Been in Love Before? {3}
Towa Bird - Wild Heart {1}
The Chainsmokers/bludnymph - Self Destruction Mode {1} SOTW
Presley Regier - Nevermind {6}
Middle Ground and Hell N Back find themselves in the abyss. Have You Ever Been in Love Before, Wild Heart, and Nevermind were alright. And Self Destruction Mode leaves despite being the countdown extra.

Avery Anna - Self Love
Rita Ora/Fatboy Slim - Praising You

Lady Gaga - Bloody Mary
Lizzy McAlpine - ceilings

ILLENIUM/Avril Lavigne/Travis Barker - Eyes Wide Shut

Bakar - Hell N Back
P!nk - TRUSTFALL
Calvin Harris/Ellie Goulding - Miracle
Summer Blurbs:
Lots of exits this week. We lost Double Fantasy, Thank God, 10:35, Last Night, Alone, and Cinderella Snapped. Double Fantasy got replaced by a better Weeknd song. Thank God and 10:35 were good but were getting really old. Alone deserved better. Last Night was meh. And Cinderella Snapped was good but was starting to get old.
Favorite Song is quickly becoming my least favorite song and it now gets the orange ranking.
Dance The Night finally takes the purple ranking away from Love From The Other Side.
Can Daylight please go away? It's taking up room for much better songs.
That Part got a huge jump. This is growing on me a little.
Give Me A Kiss, Jaded, and Cupid enter the top 10. Yay to all of them.
We have a new #1 this week, Karma. I'm fine with this, even if Karma has slightly faded on me. With that, Ice Spice gets her first #1 song on the countdown. Love From The Other Side was starting to fade on me, so I don't mind it lost the #1 spot.
That's all for now, see you all next week!
