Debuts:

Selena Gomez is back with Single Soon. This is pretty catchy and Selena sounds good, but this just sounds a bit too basic.

Miley Cyrus brings her second song on the countdown with Used To Be Young. This has grown on me a lot. The production evolves nicely throughout the song and Miley sounds great.

Countdown Extra: Jordi - Just A Friend

Biggest Jump Of The Week: Olivia Rodrigo - bad idea right? (+7)

Biggest DRRRRRRROP!!! Of The Week: David Kushner - Daylight (-7)

Last year's #1 song: Harry Styles - Late Night Talking (3/5 long and overrated weeks at #1)

Favorite song last year: AJR - World’s Smallest Violin

Least favorite song last year: Doja Cat - Vegas

Most missed song: Miami Horror - Sometimes (2010)

Recommendation for Hits 1: Måneskin - HONEY (ARE U COMING?)

5 oldest songs:

5. Taylor Swift - Cruel Summer (15 weeks)

4. Harry Styles - Satellite (17 weeks)

3. Tie between SZA - Snooze and FIFTY FIFTY - Cupid (Twin Ver.) (18 weeks)

2. Crash Adams - Give Me A Kiss (19 weeks)

1. Miley Cyrus - Jaded (20 weeks)

Hitbound:

MAX/JVKE/Bazzi - Strings {5}

Nicki Minaj - Last Time I Saw You (Debut)

Thomas Day - Gravity {2}

Timbaland/Nelly Furtado/Justin Timberlake - Keep Going Up (Debut)

Nightly - shirt {2}

Peggy Gou - (It Goes Like) Nanana {3}

Flyana Boss - You Wish {4}

Lauv - Love U Like That {5}

Diplo/Polo G/Jessie Murph - Heartbroken {7}

Paul Russell - Lil Boo Thang {3}

Travis Scott/Bad Bunny/The Weeknd - K-POP {6}

aespa - Better Things {3}

charlieonnafriday - I'm Not Crazy {7}

Jordi - Just A Friend {2} SOTW

Chris Brown - Summer Too Hot {3}

(G)I-DLE - I Do {4}

Hits 1 played a live version of Lovebug instead of the 16th hitbound song for the first airing, but subsequent airings included I Do, so I Do remains on hitbound. Thanks to Hallett for pointing that out.

Timbaland, Nelly Furtado, and Justin Timberlake team up for a second time since Give It To Me in 2007, with Keep Going Up. Nelly Furtado and Justin Timberlake sound good but this is just super forgettable and nowhere near their best.

Nicki Minaj is back with Last Time I Saw You. Nicki sounds good but this is kinda boring and forgettable.

Exits:

NONE!

Wow, the first time in a while there were no PLOPs.

Abyss:

Miguel - Sure Thing

Bakar - Hell N Back

Jain - Makeba

Harry Styles - Daylight

Busted/Jonas Brothers - Year 3000 2.0

Taylor Swift - I Can See You (Taylor's Version) (From The Vault)

Teddy Swims - Lose Control

Charli XCX - Speed Drive

NOTD/Maia Wright - AM:PM

Keep Blurbin' Up:

We lost Baby Don’t Hurt Me and Speed Drive. I'm not sure why Speed Drive left, it was getting a ton of airplay, it now enters the abyss. And Baby Don’t Hurt Me was great but was getting really old.

Daylight had a big -7 drop. Can this leave please?

bad idea right finally got a big jump.

It only took 9 weeks but vampire is finally in the top 5. I'd rather bad idea right be there instead because vampire is getting really annoying.

Nice to see What It Is jumping to #4.

Dance The Night jumped to #2. Will it take #1 next week, or will it end up getting blocked from #1? Hopefully the latter because Dance The Night is getting really annoying.

That's all for now, see you all next week!
