Debuts:
English singer Artemas makes his Hits 1 debut with i like the way you kiss me. This is a really fun indie song and Artemas sounds great.
Shaboozey also makes his Hits 1 debut with A Bar Song (Tipsy). This samples the 2004 song Tipsy by J-Kwon. This is a really fun country song and Shaboozey sounds great.

Post Malone and Morgan Wallen team up with I Had Some Help, which apparently got sent to radio early before it released since I heard it all day Thursday. This is really good. They both sound great and the country production is really fun.
Alec Benjamin just released his new album 12 Notes, and here he is with Khalid with Ways To Go. They both sound decent but this is very boring and forgettable.
RM from BTS is here with one of the longest, most boring songs I've ever heard, Come back to me. RM and the production are both decent, but this just drags on way too long. The radio edit is 4 minutes long, and the full version is 6 and a half minutes long!
Jax is back since Cinderella Snapped from last year, along with country singer HARDY, with zombieland. Jax and Hardy both sound decent, the production is upbeat enough, but the lyrics are stupid and kinda suck.
Kane Brown and Marshmello collab for the second time since One Thing Right in 2019, with Miles on It. The production is amazing and Kane Brown sounds great, but I still prefer One Thing Right more.
Camila Cabello and Lil Nas X collab on HE KNOWS. Finally, a great Camila song that doesn't make me go ihateitihateitihateit. The production is insanely fun and catchy and Camila and Lil Nas X both sound great.
The Chainsmokers just released a new EP No Hard Feelings, and they replace themselves with No Shade at Pitti. This is a lot better than Friday, but this still feels kinda generic and forgettable.
Hits 1 finally realized what the actual single was, and replaced Teddy Swims' Apple Juice With Hammer to the Heart. Apple Juice was just starting to grow on me, but Hammer to the Heart just feels like a worse version of The Door.
Exits:
Kygo/Zak Abel/Nile Rodgers - For Life [2]
OneRepublic - Nobody [4]
Teddy Swims - Apple Juice [2]
Michael Marcagi - Scared To Start [5]
The Chainsmokers/Fridayy - Friday [1]
Lauv - Potential [2]
Gracie Abrams - Risk [1]
Apple Juice was just starting to grow on me. For Life and Nobody were amazing. Scared To Start, Friday, and Potential were alright. And Risk finds itself in the abyss.
Abyss
Billie Eilish - you should see me in a crown
Gracie Abrams - Risk
Chappell Roan - Good Luck, Babe!
Mark Ambor - Belong Together
Jagwar Twin - Bad Feeling (Oompa Loompa)
Olivia Rodrigo - so american
Madison Beer - Make You Mine
Justin Timberlake - No Angels
Benson Boone - Slow It Down
Lady Gaga/Ariana Grande - Rain On Me
Hayes Warner/Billy B/Kevin Rudolf - Just A Girl
Jelly Roll/Lainey Wilson - Save Me
Everybody in the bar gettin' blurbsy:
We lost TEXAS HOLD 'EM and A Symptom Of Being Human. TEXAS HOLD 'EM was getting kind of old, and A Symptom Of Being Human was good but very forgettable.
Can II MOST WANTED stop taking up space in the bottom spot so better songs can debut?
I Can Do It With A Broken Heart has grown on me a lot.
Me, Myself & Your Eyes has been in the bottom 5 of airplay for 3 weeks now and it's someone still here.
Training Season has also barely gotten any spins and it's somehow still #6.
Well, after ten years, Hozier finally gets his first #1 on the countdown. This was very unexpected, but I'll gladly take it. If you would have told me 2 months ago that Hozier would have a #1 song on the countdown, I would have laughed in your face. Let's see how long this can hold #1 because I really don't want Ariana's most forgettable song we can't be friends to reach #1.
That's all for now, see you all next week!
