Debuts:

We have a collab between Madonna and Sabrina Carpenter that sounds like it belongs on the Devil Wears Prada 2 soundtrack, but surprisingly isn't. Bring Your Love is actually Madonna's first song on the countdown when she was the main artist since all the way back to 2008 with her song 4 Minutes with Justin Timberlake and Timbaland. The dance pop production is super catchy and Madonna and Sabrina both sound great together.

Skipping hitbound entirely and debuting straight from the abyss is a collab between Kygo and country singer Carter Faith called That's When You Know. This is so much better than Save My Love. Hopefully this doesn't end up flopping as hard as that song.

Countdown Extra: Alex Warren - FINE PLACE TO DIE

Biggest Jump Of The Week: Noah Kahan - The Great Divide [+9]

Biggest...DRRRRRRROP!!! Of The Week: Bruno Mars - Risk It All [-6]

Last year's #1 song: Lady Gaga - Abracadabra (5/6 weeks at #1)

Favorite song last year: Lorde - What Was That

Least favorite song last year: Jon Bellion/Pharrell Williams - HOROSCOPE

Most missed song: Eliza Rose/Calvin Harris - Body Moving (2024)

Recommendation for Hits 1: Kesha - ORIGAMI!

Finally, we have an amazing Charli XCX song for once after the disaster that was Wuthering Heights. Rock Music is basically what the title says. It's a rock song, mixed with some hyperpop. This is super fun, and hopefully it does well.

Apparently Hits 1 is just picking up on every Tiffany Stringer song now. Supernova is a lot different than Bullet and Damn Good Actress. This has some interesting alt production and Tiffany sounds great. This could end up growing on me.

Ugh, we really did not need more Madison Beer. She released a deluxe version of locket, and she's here with lovergirl. I mean, this is slightly better than bittersweet. But this is still pretty forgettable.

Apparently Hits 1 is also picking up on every STELLA LEFTY song now too. I Know I Know is probably her best so far. This is pretty fun and Stella sounds pretty good. This should have been the hit over Boston.

Myles Smith will be releasing his first ever album 'My Mess, My Heart, My Life' on June 19th, and we have the next single from it Hold Me In The Dark. Yeah, this is pretty boring. It's even more forgettable than Drive Safe.

As soon as I found out these next 2 artists collabed, I just knew Hits 1 would eat it up. And it looks like I was correct. Khalid and Lauv collab on Tied Up. This song is forgettable as hell. Khalid and Lauv both sound good together, but the production is just some basic R&B beat.

I'm sorry, but who is this? Malcom Todd is here with a song called Earrings that he released 2 years ago, but is just now trending and entered the Billboard Hot 100. I don't know how to feel about this song yet. This song is very weird and short. But this is the good kind of weird that may end up growing on me. This sounds like the type of song that might randomly grow on me in a month.

Exits:

  • Lewis Capaldi - Stay Love [3]
  • Mercer Henderson - Kiss Me Better [2]
  • KATSEYE - PINKY UP [4]
  • Meghan Trainor - Shimmer [2]
  • JAZMIN - Cup of Tea [3]
  • The Kid LAROI - PIECES [2]

Shimmer and Cup of Tea find themselves in the abyss. Nothing else will be missed.

2026 total dropouts: 86

Estimated total for 2026: 194 (+5)

Abyss

Justin Bieber - SPEED DEMON [1] [New]

Justin Bieber/Nicki Minaj - Beauty And A Beat [1] [New]

Meghan Trainor - Shimmer [1] [New]

JAZMIN - Cup of Tea [1] [New]

Teddy Swims - Mr. Know It All [1] [New]

sombr - Potential [3]

RAYE/Hans Zimmer - Click Clack Symphony. [5]

Sabrina Carpenter - House Tour [6]

Corbyn Besson/TZUYU - Blink [10]

Doja Cat - Gorgeous [12]

Pitbull/Lil Jon - Damn I Love Miami [12]

Zara Larsson - Lush Life [15]

Beauty And A Beat is trending again due to Justin Bieber's Coachella performance. It's an amazing song, so I guess I'll take it.

Superblurbs:

We lost Opalite and Mr. Know It All. Opalite had an incredible run and I kinda wished it could have joined the 30 week club, but oh well. Mr. Know It All wasn't the most memorable song, but it didn't deserve to flop that hard. Oh well, you won't really be that missed.

WHERE IS MY HUSBAND and Die On This Hill are just refusing to leave.

Nice to see Stateside jump to the top 10.

It's not nice to see The Great Divide making a huge jump back into the top 10.

The two songs I thought might jump to #1 this week, American Girls and When Did You Get Hot, ended up dropping. Hopefully When Did You Get Hot goes #1 soon and doesn't end up being blocked because it's an actual rare amazing Sabrina Carpenter song.

Why did I Just Might jump up to #2? It's not going #1 again, so just let it drop already.

That's all for now, see you all next week!

  7. Where Is My Husband seriously does need to go. It’s been on the countdown for too long and it’s ridiculous that it’s still there

    1. I wonder if it will pass Ride as the best performing song peaking at #2. It'd be weird for a song in the 30 song countdown to do that.

    2. Also, do you think you'll pass Beluga's 800K pageviews by August?

    3. I average about 50k pageviews a month. With that rate, I would pass 800k pageviews in 3 months.
