Debuts:
Unfortunately, it looks like the next single from Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally will be Coming Up Roses. This is the first time listening to this song in full. Yeah, this song is complete garbage. It's boring as hell, and there's no evolution in the production at all. There is a nice orchestral outro, but that's about the only good thing about this song. It's a shame because Dance No More is such a fun song. Why is Coming Up Roses the next single?

We have the second ever Christmas song Hits 1 has picked up on, and it's not even Thanksgiving yet. The last Christmas song Hits 1 picked up on was Justin Bieber's Mistletoe all the way back in 2011. take me home (4 christmas) is a solid Christmas song. It reminds me a lot of Christmas Wrapping by The Waitresses. The production is pretty fun here, and Olivia sounds good. I'm not the biggest fan of Christmas music, but I can see this growing on me.
Dove Cameron just released a new album FINAL GIRL, and we have the next single from it do the math. Mikey Piff called this Dove's first ever full-length album, but she released Alchemical: Volume 1 back in 2023, so I'm not sure what Mikey means. Anyways, this song is alright. The production is pretty underwhelming here, but at least Dove sounds good here. This isn't nearly as good as When In Rome.
We have another Slayyyter single hey boyyy. I'm not sure how I feel about this yet. The production slaps, but this is kinda a mess and all over the place. Maybe this can grow on me, who knows.
Oh goodie, we're ending on a random nobody. Indie band SUM SUN make their Hits 1 debut with Worth The Wait. This song is forgettable as hell. The bedroom pop production is pretty generic. Nick Benton and Ilan Pomerance sound decent, but their voices are pretty generic.
Exits:

Unfortunately, You seems to be in the abyss. None of other songs will be missed.

Blurbing Up Roses:
bloodstream left for the third time this week. I swear if this has a 4th run on the countdown...
Hootie Frutti had a massive 11 spot drop. I'm surprised it peaked as high as it did, but I think it's about time this song left.
Nice to see Babydoll finally jumping.
Boston still refuses to go away. Only 2 more weeks until it joins the 30 week club.
Nice to see expectations get a massive 12 spot jump into the top 10. Now if it can just go #1...
My Body Isn't Ready finally jumped to #2 after almost 20 weeks, but I don't see this going #1 though.
Taylor Swift is #1 yet again this week to no one's surprise, for many more weeks yet to come.
That's all for now, see you all next week!
