Most missed countdown song: Imma Be - Black Eyed Peas (2010)

History - Joel Corry ft. Becky Hill

All She Wanna Do - John Legend ft. Saweetie

MATERIAL GWORRLLLLLLLL! - Madonna & Saucy Santana

The Whistle - Steve Aoki, Timmy Trumpet, & DJ Aligator

boy - The Killers

hover like a GODDESS - WILLOW

Debuts:

AJR is back on the countdown with I Won't. This isn't as good as Way Less Sad, but it's still super fun.

Next is Yung Gravy with Betty (Get Money). This song obviously Never Gonna Give You Up by Rick Astley, and it's super fun.

Next is 2 Be Loved (Am I Ready) by Lizzo. This song is just super fun, and has an amazing key change at the end. About Damn Time is starting to get annoying, so hopefully this replaces that soon.

After being in the abyss for months, I Ain’t Worried by OneRepublic finally debuts. This is super fun, and I love the whistling in the chorus. This would be in purple if it weren't for the next song.

I thought Hits 1 was gonna do this song dirty, but it finally debuted. It's Don't You Worry by Black Eyed Peas, David Guetta, and Shakira. This song is super nostalgic for me. It sounds like it came from 2009, when I was listening to the other BEP songs like I Gotta Feeling and Boom Boom Pow.

Hitbound:

Bad Habit - Steve Lacy

Bad Decisions - Benny Blanco, BTS, Snoop Dogg (Debut)

rain rain go away - Havanna Winter (Debut)

Victoria's Secret - Jax

Obsessed - Calvin Harris, Charlie Puth, Shenseea (Debut)

Are You Entertained - Russ, Ed Sheeran

Life Sux - Leah Kate

Becky's So Hot - FLETCHER

Drowsy - OHNO

Someone to Blame - Dixie

toxic energy - blackbear, The Used (Debut)

Sucks to Know You (FU) - Mergui (Debut)

Staying Alive - DJ Khaled, Drake, Lil Baby (Debut)

what would you do? - Tate McRae (re-entry)

SNAP - Rosa Linn

American Psycho - Marshmello, Mae Muller, Trippie Redd

First is Staying Alive by DJ Khaled, Drake, and Lil Baby. This song obviously samples the song Staying Alive. This song is just okay. This suffers from the same problems as Drake's other song Way 2 Sexy. A basic trap production with uninteresting vocals and a half-hearted sample.

Next is a case of where the hell does Hits 1 finds these songs? We have rain rain go away by Havanna Winter. Is it just me or does it sound exactly like La Di Die by Nessa Barrett? Havanna Winter sounds exactly like her, and the production is almost identical. This suffers from the same problems as La Di Die as in it's kinda boring, but it's still pretty good.

Next is Bad Decisions by Benny Blanco, BTS, and Snoop Dogg. I didn't have high hopes when I saw BTS was in this, but I was pleasantly surprised. BTS and Snoop Dogg both sound good and the production's pretty groovy.

Calvin Harris just released a new album Funk Wav Bounces Vol 2, and we have Obsessed featuring Charlie Puth and Shenseea. The production's pretty good, and Shenseea sounds good, but Charlie Puth has a very weird pitched down effect on his voice.

Next is Sucks to Know You by Mergui. This is just okay. The production's super generic and Mergui doesn't sound that good.

Next is toxic energy by blackbear and The Used. And holy cow, this song is amazing, and would be purple if it weren't for the next song. This is the best song blackbear has made so far. The punk rock production is just amazing. It sounds like a punk rock song that was released in 2004.

Holy cow, I thought this song was gone forever. It's what would you do by Tate McRae, and it has re-entered hitbound. The production is just super fun and catchy and Tate sounds great.

Exits:

TV - Billie Eilish

SUMMER RENAISSANCE - Beyoncé

die first - Nessa Barrett

Valley of Lies - TOMORROW X TOGETHER, iann dior

Booty - Saucy Santana, Latto

Grand - Kane Brown

TV was super bad, and the rest I didn't really care about.

Abyss

Daylight - Harry Styles

WAIT FOR U - Future, Drake, Tems

Life's Too Short - aespa

Unstoppable - Sia

Wasted On You - Morgan Wallen 🤠

Flowers - Lauren Spencer-Smith

Get Into It (Yuh) - Doja Cat

Don't You Blurb:

We lost 5 songs this week: Numb Little Bug, First Class, sheluvme, Boyfriend, and Out Of Time. sheluvme was super forgettable, I don't even remember what it sounds like. The other 4 were super old and annoying so I'm glad they're gone.

This might be the best countdown in a while. There's only 4 songs I hate, and 3 that are super old.

To no one's surprise, Harry Styles is #1 yet again because Hits 1 stans him so much. I actually do like this song, at least for now, it's way better than As It Was. But let's see how I feel the 15th week it's #1, which will probably happen.

That's all for now, se you all next week!

  1. Shivers actually made the top 10 on Billboard, meanwhile Late Night Toppling did not, so I don't see it breaking Shivers's record
