Hey guys, what's up? This was kinda a weird week. We had an exit and re-entry as well as some jumps and drops that didn't really make sense.

Debuts:
Hold Me Like a Grudge re-entered. This is a bit odd, since I thought Hits 1 was gonna push We Didn't Start The Fire instead, but I guess I'll take it.
After dropping out of hitbound last year and returning this year and being in the abyss for ages, In The Stars finally debuts. I really hated this last year but luckily it's grown on me a lot. This is a really amazing ballad and Benson Boone actually sounds really good.
Noah Kahan makes his return to the countdown after Hurt Somebody in 2018, with Dial Drunk with Post Malone. This is a really amazing folk song. The production is really catchy and Noah and Post both sound great.
Countdown Extra: Tori Kelly - Cut
Biggest Jump Of The Week: Fall Out Boy - We Didn't Start The Fire (+15)
Biggest DRRRRRRROP!!! Of The Week: TOMORROW X TOGETHER/Jonas Brothers - Do It Like That (-7)
Last year's #1 song: Harry Styles - Late Night Talking (1/5 long and overrated weeks at #1)
Favorite song last year: Black Eyed Peas/David Guetta/Shakira - Don't You Worry
Least favorite song last year: Amelia Moore - i feel everything
Most missed song: Calvin Harris/The Weeknd - Over Now (2020)
Recommendation for Hits 1: James Blunt - Beside You
5 oldest songs:
5. Tie between David Guetta/Anne-Marie/Coi Leray - Baby Don’t Hurt Me and FIFTY FIFTY - Cupid (Twin Ver.) (14 weeks)
4. Crash Adams - Give Me A Kiss (15 weeks)
3. Miley Cyrus - Jaded (16 weeks)
2. Jonas Brothers - Waffle House (17 weeks)
1. Ed Sheeran - Eyes Closed (19 weeks)

Tori Kelly - Cut {2} SOTW
Crash Adams - Sugar Mommy {4}
Doja Cat - Paint The Town Red (Debut)

FIFTY FIFTY/Kaliii - Barbie Dreams {4}
Bebe Rexha/David Guetta - One in a Million (Debut)
Travis Scott/Bad Bunny/The Weeknd - K-POP {2}
Charli XCX - Speed Drive {2}
Lauv is back with Love U Like That after having that super annoying song last year All 4 Nothing. This is pretty catchy and Lauv sounds good.
Next up is one of the most random collabs ever. MAX, JVKE, and Bazzi are here with Strings. This is pretty fun and everyone sounds good.
Doja Cat is here with Paint The Town Red. This is a lot better than Attention. This is pretty fun and Doja sounds good.
Everyone's favorite recycling bin David Guetta is back along with Bebe Rexha with One in a Million. Apparently David Guetta ran out of songs to sample, because he sampled his own song When Love Takes Over. Despite the obvious sample, this song is amazing. The production is really cool and Bebe sounds amazing as always.
Exits:
Busted/Jonas Brothers - Year 3000 2.0 {1}
Presley Regier - Fly {1}
Year 3000 2.0 finds itself in the abyss, and Fly was super forgettable.
Miguel - Sure Thing
Bakar - Hell N Back
Taylor Swift - You're Losing Me (From The Vault)
iCandy - Keep Dat
Jain - Makeba
Kaliii - Area Codes
Pitbull/Lil Jon - JUMPIN
Kylie Minogue - Padam Padam
Metro Boomin/NAV/A Boogie Wit da Hoodie/Swae Lee - Calling
Aqua - Barbie Girl
Harry Styles - Daylight
Busted/Jonas Brothers - Year 3000 2.0
Taylor Swift - I Can See You (Taylor's Version) (From The Vault)
Flo Rida - What A Night
Zayn - Love Like This
Blurb U Like That:
We lost Love Like This, Attention, and Chemical. Weird to see Love Like This flop, Hits 1 usually stans One Directioners. Attention wasn't that great and will get replaced by the better Paint The Town Red. And sad to see Chemical gone but it had a good run.
How is What Was I Made For still here and jumping? I've only heard it once on Hits 1 the whole 3 weeks it's been here.
I'm not really sure why Do It Like That took a huge tumble. It had a ton of airplay and Hits 1 really stans the Jonas Brothers.
Snooze really needs to be snoozing off the countdown instead of jumping.
We Didn't Start The Fire took a huge 15 spot jump to almost the top 10. I'll gladly take it.
Nice to see What It Is in the top 10.
If Eyes Closed and Jaded could leave soon that would be fantastic.
Sorry Olivia Rodrigo stans, but vampire is almost getting as annoying as Deja Vu and Traitor.
Give Me A Kiss is somehow still #1 this week. I thought Cruel Summer would overtake it but I guess not. I'm really glad Hits 1 is giving these songs that aren't a hit elsewhere a chance.
That's all for now, see you all next week!
