Halsey is back with a rock banger Ego. This is easily her best song so far this year. The punk rock production is amazing and Halsey sounds great.
OMG Hits 1, stop picking up on every Jessie Murph song, no one cares about her. She's back with Bailey Zimmerman with Someone In This Room. I guess this isn't the worst from her. The production is pretty boring and Jessie doesn't sound that great but Bailey's verse and harmony is the only thing keeping this song from being crap.
The Chainsmokers and Kim Petras team up with Don't Lie. The production is a bit basic but still amazing and Kim sounds great as always.
Alex Warren is back again with Troubled Waters. This is easily his best song so far. The production is really fun and Alex sounds great.
Ok I don't think anyone asked for any more Camila Cabello weirdness. She released a deluxe version of C, XOXO and Hits 1 picked up on GODSPEED. This is easily her worst song so far. This has the same problems as Eat The Acid by Kesha did last year. It just has a boring monotonous background loop and the song doesn't evolve at all. Then at the end it goes all auto-tune and weird. Good riddance to this song and hopefully this doesn't become a hit.
Exits:
Maren Morris - push me over [5]
All Time Low - Dear Maria, Count Me In (ATL's version) [4]
Halsey - Lonely Is The Muse [3]
Jessie Murph/Teddy Swims - Dirty [5]
Dear Maria, Count Me In was amazing but it was never gonna debut, and the rest won't be missed.
Abyss
Hayes Warner - Predator
David Guetta/OneRepublic - I Don't Wanna Wait
The Kid Laroi - GIRLS
Olivia Rodrigo - so american
Moneybagg Yo/Morgan Wallen - WHISKEY WHISKEY
Jelly Roll - I Am Not Okay
Pitbull/Ne-Yo/AFROJACK - 2 The Moon
Harry Styles - Daylight
Slippin' through your blurbs:
Just 1 exit this week, Houdini. This was a great song but it was starting to get very old and needed to leave.
I have a new color coding color. Cyan will be used for songs that are good but are very annoying. I didn't have to use it this week but I probably will in the future.
Looks like We Pray won't flop as hard as feelslikeimfallinginlove.
Guess is literally countdown filler at this point. It only gets 2 spins a day and has only moved up 1 spot in 4 weeks since its debut.
Slow It Down and the boy is mine are getting very annoying.
Please Please Please is down to 2 spins a day and is still #2 somehow. It looks like this will probably get blocked from #1 after all.
That's all for now, see you all next week!
