Debuts:

Ethan Burdick has been announced as our new One To Watch, and he debuts this week with I Get the Picture. Yeah, this song is not that great. The production is way too boring. At least Ethan's voice is pretty good. Hopefully this ends up flopping and doesn't spend a million weeks on the countdown like the last 1TW Die On This Hill has.

We had a nice 2 year break from Olivia Rodrigo, but she couldn't be kept off the countdown forever. She's back with her latest song drop dead. I really tried to like this song. I thought listening to it a few times would make it grow on me, but it hasn't quite grown on me yet. The production just seems very forgettable, but at least Olivia sounds somewhat decent.

Ok, we really did not need more Niall Horan forgettable crap. He's back with Little More Time. I don't know how he did it, but he made a song even more forgettable than Dinner Party. Hopefully this ends up dropping out.

Omg, Meghan Trainor just made an amazing song for once in her life. She just released her new album Toy With Me, and we have the next single from it Shimmer. This song slaps so hard. This is so much better than her usual forgettable radio filler crap she's released these past few years. Hopefully this ends up doing well.

We have more Mid Laroi, except this time PIECES is more like actually good Laroi. This song kinda bops, but is a bit on the forgettable side.

It's about damn time Hits 1 picked up on this song. So a random Weezer song from 2014 called Go Away has started to trend again. This is a fun little Weezer song, far from their best, but still a great song. I don't know if this will make the countdown, but who knows.

It looks like Hits 1 is now stealing Daniel's HOTF plants. Longtime HOTF plant Mercer Henderson has finally made her way to Hits 1 with Kiss Me Better. This song is pretty fun, and Mercer has a great voice, but this is a bit too basic for me.

Oh god, we really did not need more boring forgettable Noah Kahan crap. He's back with Doors. This is even more boring than The Great Divide. Hopefully this doesn't end up becoming a hit.

What's up with all the boring forgettable crap on hitbound? We have even more with Shaboozey's latest Born To Die. I mean, this song is a lot more upbeat than Good News, but this is just insanely forgettable.

We lost A Couple Minutes and bittersweet. Good riddance to both these songs. A Couple Minutes was extremely boring. bittersweet wasn't that bad, but it did not need to last 27 weeks on the countdown.

Can Babydoll and iloveitiloveitiloveit please stop flopping?

Just when I thought Die On This Hill was on its way out, it jumped again.

Umm, Drive Safe does not need to be in the top 10.

Nice to see FEVER DREAM almost jumping into the top 5, and When Did You Get Hot finally entering the top 5.

For the first time since December 13, 2025, Opalite has finally left the top 5. Geeze, that spent way too long in the top 5.

I'm getting slightly concerned now. I Just Might has been #1 for 9 weeks in a row now, and I really thought there would be a new song at #1 by now. I Just Might dropped a lot in airplay this week, so maybe next week we'll finally have a new #1 song.
