One Million Pageviews Special - A Brand-New Blog Redesign!

 

Hey guys! Wow, one million pageviews! I didn't think I was ever gonna get this far. I appreciate all the support these past 4 years, it means the world to me. I couldn't think of an idea for a one million pageview special post, so I thought why not do something I've been meaning to do for a few years now. My blog was due for a major visual upgrade, since I haven't changed it much in 4 years, besides changing the background image. So I figured for my million pageview special, why not go all in on the redesign? 

With the help of Claude's new amazing AI model Fable 5, I told the AI to create me a new blog, and told it to go crazy. It went a little too crazy at first, and I had to tell it to tone it down. The new blog layout features a new blog title with cascading colors. There are now rounded-edge outlines around the posts and other blog elements. There are musical notes in the background that can be interacted with and pushed around. There are various new neon colors and light strips added to several blog elements. I have increased the font size slightly to increase ease of reading. And that pretty much covers all the major changes.

*Note: This blog redesign is only for the web version. The mobile version is untouched. If you are on mobile and would like to see the new redesign, scroll to the bottom where it says "view web version", and then you'll be able to see the new redesign.

Well, I think that about covers the new redesign. Let me know what you think! Let me know if I should change or remove anything or if there's anything you don't like. Also, if there's anything you think I should add, let me know as well. There's pretty much no limit to what we can add. The original design had spinning records and pulsating equalizer bars in the background, which I removed because they seemed too distracting. You can check out the original design for those on my testing blog with the link from above. But if for some reason you like those, I can add those back. Or if you have any other ideas for things I should add, I'm open to suggestions. Lastly, if you hate this new redesign and prefer the old blog, I do have a backup saved of the old blog. So I can restore the old blog if too many people decide they don't like it.
