Debuts:
Nice to see The Emptiness Machine back as it has grown on me a lot, but this probably won't last long again.
Billie Eilish debuts out of nowhere with WILDFLOWER. I don't think this has been pushed to pop, so I'm not sure why Hits 1 randomly picked up on this. The production is a bit slow but starts to pick up and Billie sounds good.
Countdown Extra: LISA - Moonlit Floor
Biggest Jump Of The Week: Jelly Roll - I Am Not Okay [+5]
Biggest DRRRRRRROP!!! Of The Week: Myles Smith - Stargazing [-8]
Last year's #1 song: Miley Cyrus - Used To Be Young (2/2 weeks at #1)
Favorite song last year: Troye Sivan - Got Me Started
Least favorite song last year: Billie Eilish - What Was I Made For?
Most missed song: Angels & Airwaves (Tom DeLonge from blink-182) - The Adventure (2006)
Recommendation for Hits 1: Imagine Dragons/Baker Boy - Take Me To The Beach

Hitbound
Myles Smith - Wait for You [7]
JENNIE - Mantra [Debut]
Henry Moodie - good old days [3]
Hayes Warner - ZIP [Debut]
Kylie Minogue - Lights Camera Action [3]
Knox - Invisible [5]
LISA - Moonlit Floor [2]
Ava Max - Spot A Fake [4]
Damiano David/Labrinth - Silverlines [3]
Halsey - I Never Loved You [Debut]
Alex Warren - Burning Down [4]
Balu Brigada - So Cold [3]
Dasha - Bye Bye Bye [5]
Jelly Roll/Halsey - Take A Bow [Debut]
Jon Bellion - KID AGAIN [3]
Teddy Swims - Bad Dreams [5]
JENNIE from Blackpink makes her Hits 1 debut with Mantra, since One Of The Girls was in the abyss and technically never debuted hitbound or the countdown. This is really fun and Jennie sounds great.
Everyone's favorite Hits 1 plant Hayes Warner is back with ZIP. This is pretty fun, Hayes sounds great, but this isn't as good as Predator.
Great, Halsey is back to making boring music now. I Never Loved You isn't that interesting to listen to and Halsey doesn't sound that great either.
A very unexpected collab Jelly Roll and Halsey are here with Take A Bow. This doesn't start off that great but once it gets to Halsey's verse it starts to pick up and Jelly Roll and Halsey surprisingly sound great together.
Exits:
Coldplay/Ayra Starr - GOOD FEELiNGS [1]
Nightly - every part [2]
Natalie Jane - Somebody to Someone (I Just Wanna Fall in Love) [4]
Morgan Wallen/ERNEST - Cowgirls [2]
RIP to Good Feelings. Cowgirls spent a whopping one week getting airplay before it suddenly dropped off. And Somebody to Someone and every part were both very forgettable.
Abyss
The Neighbourhood - Sweater Weather
Taylor Swift - So High School
Gracie Abrams - I Love You, I'm Sorry
The Kid LAROI - GIRLS
Machine Gun Kelly/Jelly Roll - Lonely Road
Chappell Roan - Femininomenon
Eminem - Houdini
Hayes Warner - Predator
David Guetta/OneRepublic - I Don't Wanna Wait
Harry Styles - Daylight
Just when the abyss list was starting to shrink, a bunch of songs entered the abyss. Sweater Weather has started its yearly tradition of entering the abyss. I'm surprised I Love You, I'm Sorry didn't debut since it had a lot of airplay.
Take a Blurb:
We lost A Bar Song and Mamushi. A Bar Song was getting old and needed to leave. And I'm not sure why Mamushi felt the need to reenter in the first place, it's extremely forgettable.
This week was not very exciting, there was hardly any movement except for a -8 drop from Stargazing.
Are Diet Pepsi, Not Like Us, and Criminals gonna do anything besides rot in the bottom 5?
BIRDS OF A FEATHER has gained a lot in airplay and jumped to #2, this will probably overtake #1 soon.
That's all for now, see you all next week!
