Debuts:
Lil Durk and Morgan Wallen collab on Stand By Me. This is pretty fun and Lil Durk and Morgan both sound pretty good.
Zayn makes his first countdown debut since 2018 with Love Like This. This is really fun and Zayn sounds great.
Fall Out Boy is here with their cover of We Didn't Start The Fire, but with events that happened from 2018-2023. This is an amazing FOB song as always. The production is really cool and Patrick Stump sounds amazing as always.
TOMORROW X TOGETHER and the Jonas Brothers collab with Do It Like That. This is super fun and everyone here sounds great.
Countdown Extra: Noah Kahan/Post Malone - Dial Drunk
Biggest Jump Of The Week: Dominic Fike - Mona Lisa (+8)
Biggest DRRRRRRROP!!! Of The Week: Post Malone - Chemical (-10)
Last year's #1 song: Lizzo - About Damn Time (1/1 week at #1)
Favorite song last year: Panic! At The Disco - Middle Of A Breakup
Least favorite song last year: Amelia Moore - i feel everything
Most missed song: Sofi Tukker - Best Friend (2017)
Recommendation for Hits 1: Calvin Harris/Sam Smith - Desire
5 oldest songs:
5. Tie between David Guetta/Anne-Marie/Coi Leray - Baby Don’t Hurt Me and FIFTY FIFTY - Cupid (Twin Ver.) (13 weeks)
4. Crash Adams - Give Me A Kiss (14 weeks)
3. Tie between Post Malone - Chemical & Miley Cyrus - Jaded (15 weeks)

Hitbound:
FIFTY FIFTY/Kaliii - Barbie Dreams {3}
Post Malone - Enough Is Enough (Debut)
Tori Kelly - Cut (Debut)
Busted/Jonas Brothers - Year 3000 2.0 (Debut)
Crash Adams - Sugar Mommy {3}
Zayn - Love Like This {SB}
Diplo/Polo G/Jessie Murph - Heartbroken {2}
Noah Kahan/Post Malone - Dial Drunk {2} SOTW
charlieonafriday - I'm Not Crazy {2}
Charli XCX - Speed Drive (Debut)
NewJeans - Super Shy {2}
Travis Scott/Bad Bunny/The Weeknd - K-POP (Debut)
Teddy Swims - Lose Control {2}
Presley Regier - Fly (Debut)
will.i.am/Britney Spears - Mind Your Business {2}
Jelly Roll - NEED A FAVOR {6}
Post Malone is back with Enough Is Enough. The production is solid and Post sounds good.
Tori Kelly is back with Cut after Missin U flopped on the countdown. I loved Missin U and Cut is just as great. This is super fun and catchy and Tori has an amazing voice.
Busted and the Jonas Brothers collab with Year 3000 2.0. Year 3000 was originally released by Busted then covered by the Jonas Brothers, so I guess this is a cover of a cover. The production is amazing and Busted and the Jo Bros both sound great.
Charli XCX is back with Speed Drive. This is short but it's pretty fun and Charli sounds good.
Travis Scott, Bad Bunny, and The Weeknd collab with K-POP. This is actually Bad Bunny's first time on Hits 1 because Hits 1 edited his verse out of Cardi B's I Like It. This is alright. The production is pretty fun and everyone sounds alright.
Hits 1 picked up on another song from the nobody Presley Regier, with Fly. I really liked Nevermind but this is kinda boring. The production isn't really that interesting and Presley sounds decent.
Exits:
Kylie Minogue - Padam Padam {1}
Hayes Warner - Dead To Me {2}
Troye Sivan - Rush {2}
Anna Delvey/Brooke Burke/Audio Chate - What The Hell {1}
d4vd - Here With Me {5}
Padam Padam finds itself in the abyss. Dead To Me and Rush were pretty fun. What The Hell was a very weird song. And Here With Me was garbage.
Miguel - Sure Thing
Bakar - Hell N Back
Taylor Swift - You're Losing Me (From The Vault)
Havanna Winter - Tornado
iCandy - Keep Dat
Jain - Makeba
Kaliii - Area Codes
Benson Boone - In The Stars
Pitbull/Lil Jon - JUMPIN
Kylie Minogue - Padam Padam
Metro Boomin/NAV/A Boogie Wit da Hoodie/Swae Lee - Calling
Aqua - Barbie Girl
Harry Styles - Daylight
We didn't start the blurbs:
We lost VOID, I'm In Love With You, What A Night, and Hold Me Like a Grudge. Void never was really that great. I'm In Love With You was great but lasted way too long. What A Night deserved better. And Hold Me Like a Grudge was great but got replaced by a better song from them.
Thank God What Was I Made For seems to be flopping.
Seven jumped 7 spots. Coincidence? I think not!
vampire is still taking its sweet ass time entering the top 10.
Oof, Chemical took a big tumble out of the top 10 and looks to be done soon.
I thought Satellite was supposed to get replaced by Daylight but instead it jumps 6 spots to #6.
Cupid is now in the top 5. This is a bit unexpected, but I guess I'll take it.
Let's go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Give Me A Kiss is #1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was really hoping this could get #1 and I'm really glad it did. This song isn't popular anywhere else, so I'm really shocked this is doing so well on Hits 1. But I'm glad, because this song is really growing on me. I don't see this lasting very long at #1, Cruel Summer will probably overtake it next week, but I'm gonna enjoy it while I can.
That's all for now, see you all next week!
