Debuts:

Halsey debuts with Lucky, which samples Britney Spears' song Lucky. This hasn't really grown on me since it entered hitbound last week. This is very boring and the sample doesn't really work, and Halsey doesn't sound that great. Apparently this isn't doing great on pop radio so this is probably gonna flop harder than J Christ.

Everyone's favorite Hits 1 plant Hayes Warner finally gets a song on the countdown with Predator, after being top 10 in airplay last week but still staying in hitbound for some reason. This is easily her best song. The production is super cool and she sounds great.

Did Whoops really need to reenter? This is one of the most forgettable songs ever made.

Countdown Extra: Kesha - JOYRIDE

Biggest Jump Of The Week: Sabrina Carpenter - Please Please Please [+7]

Biggest DRRRRRRROP!!! Of The Week: Gracie Abrams - Risk [-10]

Last year's #1 song: Crash Adams - Give Me A Kiss (2/3 weeks at #1)

Favorite song last year: Benson Boone - In The Stars

Least favorite song last year: Billie Eilish - What Was I Made For?

Most missed song: Beck - Cellphone's Dead (2006)

Recommendation for Hits 1: MICO - glhf<3 (good luck, have fun)

We're starting off hitbound on a strong note. Charli XCX and Billie Eilish collab on Guess. And oh my this is such a banger. Charli XCX sounds great, and even Billie Eilish sounds great for once. The production is super cool, it reminds me a lot of Technologic by Daft Punk.

Maren Morris apparently quit country music and has now turned pop. push me over is fine, she sounds good but this is extremely forgettable.

Apparently Madison Beer is just making EDM now. She's here with 15 MINUTES. Daniel played a 15 minute AI extended version of this song on his radio show, which was not a fun experience. The original version is much better though. The production is alright but this is still forgettable like Make You Mine is.

Megan Thee Stallion and Japanese rapper Yuki Chiba are here with Mamushi. This really slaps and they both sound great.

Hits 1 please stop picking up on every Jessie Murph song. She's back along with Teddy Swims with Dirty. This is not that great. The production is very boring, Jessie Murph sounds terrible, the only saving grace is Teddy Swims sounds decent.

Exits:

Alessia Cara - Dead Man [2]

flowerovlove - Boys [3]

Post Malone/Luke Combs - Guy For That [1]

These were all mid and won't be missed.

Abyss

*NSYNC - Bye Bye Bye

David Guetta/OneRepublic - I Don't Wanna Wait

Katy Perry - Woman's World

The Kid Laroi - GIRLS

Quavo/Lana Del Rey - Tough

UPSAHL - Summer So Hot

Olivia Rodrigo - so american

Moneybagg Yo/Morgan Wallen - WHISKEY WHISKEY

Coldplay - feelslikeimfallinginlove

Wallows - Calling After Me

Twenty One Pilots - The Craving

Jelly Roll - I Am Not Okay

Katy Perry - Teenage Dream

Chappell Roan - HOT TO GO!

Pitbull/Ne-Yo/AFROJACK - 2 The Moon

Harry Styles - Daylight

Blurb it out:

We lost I Don't Wanna Wait, Girls, and Woman's World. RIP to Girls, it was just starting to grow on me. I Don't Wanna Wait was great but faded on me a lot. And good riddance to Woman's World, it somehow managed to flop harder than Daisies and J Christ.

After 10 weeks Million Dollar Baby is finally starting to do something.

Espresso took a big tumble out of #1. This needs to leave next week or it will get very annoying.

Please please please can Please Please Please not hit #1 next week? We really don't need more annoying Sabrina Carpenter at #1.

Finally a new #1 song this week, A Bar Song. This was kinda an unexpected #1, but I'll gladly take it. This is kinda getting annoying from overplay, but I'll gladly take anything besides Espresso at #1.

That's all for now, see you all next week!
