Hitbound:

No Love For You - Regard/Drop G {5}

Hate You - Jordi (Debut)

Tukoh Taka - Nicki Minaj/Maluma/Myriam Fares {3}

Weapons - Ava Max {4}

i'm yours - Isabel LaRosa {3}

Special - Lizzo (Debut)

Pointless - Lewis Capaldi (Debut)

Nonsense - Sabrina Carpenter {7}

Die For You - Joji {5}

Paralyzed - Big Time Rush (Debut)

Paper Crown - Alec Benjamin (Debut)

These Nights - Loud Luxury/KIDDO (Debut)

Used To - Lila Drew {3}

Remember - Becky Hill/David Guetta {6}

It's Been So Long - K. Flay {2}

Dreamers - Jung Kook/BTS/Fifa Sound (Debut)

First up is newcomer Jordi with Hate You. This one is decent. The production isn't that interesting but Jordi sounds pretty good.

Yay, just what we needed, more Lizzo! She's back with Special. This is fine, I guess. The production is pretty upbeat but Lizzo sounds terrible as always.

Yay, just what we needed, more Lewis Capaldi! Pointless is a lot slower than Forget Me, but it's still decent. The production is a lot better than his other ballads and Lewis actually sounds halfway decent.

Yay, just what we needed, more Alec Kidjamin! Ok, why are all my least favorite artists entering hitbound this week? Anyway, Paper Crown was actually written in 2016 and Alec recently re-recorded it. Of course, because we don't have enough old songs this year! This sounds like every other Alec Kidjamin, he still sounds like he's 12. This is better than Devil Doesn't Bargain but not by much.

Big Time Rush is making their return on Hits 1 after 10 years with Paralyzed. Apparently, this was from 2011 but the group re-recorded it, because we don't have enough old music. This song is such a banger. It reminds me of the Jonas Brothers' music in the 2000s. The pop rock production is really cool and everyone sounds great.

Loud Luxury is making their return on Hits 1 after Body in 2018 with These Nights. This is a really cool EDM song and Kiddo sounds great.

Lastly we have another World Cup song. It's Dreamers by Jung Kook, and I'm not sure why BTS is credited since it's just Jung Kook singing. The production is pretty cool and a lot better than Tukoh Taka, and Jung Kook sounds great.

Exits:

Sober - jxdn {2}

Born Again - Rihanna {3}

Rock And A Hard Place - Bailey Zimmerman {4}

If Jesus Was A Rockstar - Kim Petras {2}

The DJ Is Crying For Help - AJR {2}

Silver Tongues - Louis Tomlinson {3}

Sober, The DJ Is Crying For Help, and Silver Tongues were amazing and deserved better. Born Again was one of the worst songs I've ever heard, and Rock And A Hard Place and If Jesus Was A Rockstar were decent.

Abyss:

Unstoppable - Sia

Die For You - The Weeknd

fmk - GAYLE/blackbear

Evergreen (You Didn't Deserve Me At All) - Omar Apollo

if you ask me to - charli d'amelio

Hollywood Forever - Havanna Winter

Sleepwalking - All Time Low

BILLIE EILISH. - Armani White

Sweater Weather - Neighbourhood

Christmas Music:

All I Want For Christmas Is You - Mariah Carey

Paper blurbs:

No exits or debuts this week, which is excepted since things slow down at the end of the year.

Bad Habit got the biggest drop which is nice since it's getting very annoying. Sorry Trey.

LOL is Calm Down ever gonna do anything?

Um, can Eyes On You not drop please?

Um, can Bore Me Up not jump please?

I don't think I Like You is ever gonna leave.

MFASR finally left the top #5.

Star Walkin' and Forget Me entered the top 5. I'm happy for the former, and not so much for the latter.

And of course Taylor Overrated Swift is still #1. And it's probably going to stay #1 for the rest of the year because of the end of year slowdowns. This song really needs to leave #1 soon or I'm gonna hate it.

Well, I guess that's all for now, see you all next week!

My Top 10 Worst Songs of 2022

 With 2022 almost over, it's time to take a look at the 10 worst songs of the year. 2022 was a super mediocre year for music, so choosing my bottom 10 was a cinch. Before we get to the top 10, let's take a look at some songs that weren't quite bad enough to reach my top 10 with my dishonorable mentions.

Dishonorable Mention #1:

TO THE MOON - Jnr Choi/Sam Tompkins

Drill music has no business being anywhere near pop radio. Also wtf is that album cover!?

Dishonorable Mention #2:

I AM WOMAN - Emmy Meli

A super annoying woman empowerment song. Also the title doesn't make sense grammatically.

Dishonorable Mention #3:

GHOST TOWN - Benson Boone

An extremely boring ballad and Benson Boone sounds worse than Lewis Capaldi.

Dishonorable Mention #4:

Oh My God - Adele

Oh my God, this song was super overplayed and annoying.

Dishonorable Mention #5:

Woman - Doja Cat

This was insanely annoying and the lyrics suck, she's just saying woman over and over again.

With the dishonorable mentions done, let's start at #10.

#10: Fingers Crossed - Lauren Spencer-Smith

This is literally a carbon copy of Lewis Capaldi's Before You Go, expect with a female singer. Lauren Spencer-Smith sounds terrible, she sounds like a female version of Lewis Capaldi. She's oversinging way too much, and she's practically screaming in the chorus. The production is identical to Before You Go, just a basic guitar ballad. Not a great first impression to Lauren Spencer-Smith, but luckily Flowers was way better than this.

#9: Lift Me Up - Rihanna

With this song only being out for a few weeks, I wondered if I should include it or not, but I ended up including up because it was so bad. We haven't had any music from Rihanna since 2017, and this garbage is her first comeback hit? This was made for the Wakanda movie, and I'm not sure why it became a hit. This song is just unbelievably boring. The production is non existent and doesn't evolve at all throughout the song. And then there's Rihanna herself. She sounds absolutely terrible. She's way oversinging in the chorus and she overall does not sound great.

#8: I Like You (A Happier Song) - Post Malone/Doja Cat

Geeze, where to begin with this one? First of all, Doja Cat is in it which automatically makes it bad. Secondly, this song is just super annoying and lasted way too long. It entered the countdown on Jun 11, and as of Nov 26 it's still on the countdown with no signs of leaving anytime soon. The production is super annoying and not that good, and Post Malone and Doja Cat both sound terrible.

#7: Evergreen (You Didn't Deserve Me At All) - Omar Apollo

Wow what an annoying song. The high pitched "He don't love me no more"s in the beginning are super annoying. The 60s style production is kinda interesting, but it's super annoying. And then there's Omar Apollo. His voice is extremely bad and he needs to stay away from making music.

#6: i feel everything - Amelia Moore

Apparently Amelia Moore dropped out of college to pursue a career in music. She should have stayed in college, because she cannot sing at all. She has way too much autotune on her voice, which means she can't actually sing. And then there's the production. My god it is horrendous. The opening "Checking if you have a pulse" is super annoying. And then in the chorus she's literally screaming. A terrible song that I'm glad flopped after her one to watch was over.

#5: So Good - Halsey

I don't have the best track record with Halsey. She's had some great songs, and some really bad ones. And this is the latter. The production is super bland and basic. And then there's Halsey. She's way oversinging and sounds terrible. And by the chorus, she's practically yelling. And this spent way too long on the countdown at 23 weeks. C'mon Halsey, I know you can do better than this.

#4: Glimpse Of Us - Joji ⛪

There's a reason we call this song a church hymn. This sounds like it belongs in a church. There's even some hymns that I sing in church that are more upbeat than this. There's zero production here. It's just a few piano keys and that's all. There's no evolution in the song at all. Then there's Joji. He's singing way too high and sounds terrible.

#3: I'm Tired - Labrinth/Zendaya

The title of this song is how I feel after listening to it - very tired. I really liked Labrinth's song with Noah Cyrus in 2017 Make Me Cry, so I thought this one would also be good. Nope! The production is non existent. It starts to pick up in the chorus but disappears during the verses. And my god does Labrinth sound terrible. He can't hit a note to save his life. He's singing way too high for his vocal range and ends up shrieking for some notes. I'm pretty sure I could sing better than him. And Zendaya sounds really great here, but she only comes in for the final chorus. Why couldn't she have sang this song instead of Labrinth? It would have been 1000x better.

#2: Sweetest Pie - Megan Thee Stallion/Dua Lipa

When I first heard about the announcement of this song, I was excited. I loved Megan Thee Stallion's other song Savage, and I love all of Dua Lipa's music. So what could possibly go wrong? Everything! Everything about this song is garbage. The trap beat is one of the most lazy and boring I've ever heard. And the lyrics are way too sexual. Then there's Megan Thee Stallion and Dua Lipa. They sound awful. It's like they're half singing and not even trying. And the fact that this song played every 5 minutes made it one of the most annoying songs of the year.

And my #1 worst song of 2022 is...
...
...
...
Drumroll please
...
...
...

#1: Enemy - Imagine Dragons/J.I.D.

"Oh, the misery. Everybody wants to be my enem-eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee". Well, if you've been following my blog for a while, then you knew this was coming. I actually used to be a huge fan of ID. It's Time was and still is one of my favorite songs of all time. Then in 2017 they released one of the worst albums I've ever heard Evolve. Whatever It Takes, Believer, and Thunder were some of the worst songs of 2017. And they continue to make mediocre album after mediocre album. Then they released this song in late 2021 which is by far their worst song. Where do I even start? For starters, this song only uses two chords. While other songs can make two chords work, here it just comes off as lazy. And then there's those stupid bass guitar strings in the beginning and in the chorus that are super annoying. And how could I forget about Dan Reynolds? My god he sounds terrible. He's singing in a really weird falsetto and it's super annoying. Somehow, this song does have one redeeming quality, and that's JID. His rap verse comes in at the end and my god is it amazing. His flow is amazing and I don't think he even takes one breath throughout it. If this song was just JID's verse, it would have been 1000x better.

Well, I guess that does it for now. Stay tuned for my top 10 best songs of 2022 in the coming weeks and also my 2022 year in review coming out sometime in Jan.

Hey guys, what's up? Before we get to this week's countdown, I just wanted to let you know about my plans for my best and worst list for 2022. Debuts:

2 abyss songs debuted this week. First up is The Loneliest by Måneskin. I wasn't a big fan of this song when it first came out, but it's grown on me a little. It's a ballad, which is surprising because Maneskin usually makes fun rock songs. But this one's still pretty good. It starts out slow, but by the end it gets pretty interesting. A pretty good song, and I hope it grows on me more.

 Our second abyss debut comes is Sex, Drugs, Etc. by Beach Weather. I am in love with this song, and would be in purple if it weren't for the next debut. This song's actually from 2016 but just now got popular. This is a really nice alt song. The production is so catchy and cool. And while I usually don't like screaming in the chorus, it actually works really well for this song.

Last up is Eyes On You by one hit wonder Nicky Youre. Hits 1 for some reason always has to pick up on songs from one hit wonders. This song is pretty much Sunroof part 2. It's basically the same song, but 10x more catchy. Seriously, this song is such a bop and I can't stop listening to it. The production is just super fun and catchy, and I really like Nicky Youre's unique voice.

Hitbound:

Die For You - Joji {4}

Sober - jxdn {2}

Remember - Becky Hill/David Guetta {5}

Born Again - Rihanna {3}

Used To - Lila Drew {2}

Rock And A Hard Place - Bailey Zimmerman {4}

Weapons - Ava Max {3}

Eyes On You - Nicky Youre {Sunday Best}

If Jesus Was A Rockstar - Kim Petras {2}

No Love For You - Regard/Drop G {4}

It's Been So Long - K. Flay (Debut)

Nonsense - Sabrina Carpenter {6}

The DJ Is Crying For Help - AJR {2}

Tukoh Taka - Nicki Minaj/Maluma/Myriam Fares {2}

Silver Tongues - Louis Tomlinson {3}

Only one debut this week. It is It's Been So Long by K. Flay. This song's pretty good. It's a nice little vibey indie song, but nothing that special.

Exits:

Before You - Benson Boone {4}

I'm glad this boring Benson Boone ballad left.

Abyss:

Unstoppable - Sia

Die For You - The Weeknd

Power (Remember Who You Are) - SPINALL/Summer Walker/DJ Snake/Äyanna

fmk - GAYLE/blackbear

Lavender Haze - Taylor Swift

Evergreen (You Didn't Deserve Me At All) - Omar Apollo

BILLIE EILISH. - Armani White

Don't Let The Light Go Out - Panic! At The Disco

Sweater Weather - Neighbourhood

Sex, Blurbs, Etc:

We lost So Good, Sleepwalking, and Billie Eilish. Good riddance to So Good, I didn't think it was ever gonna leave. Sleepwalking was an amazing song and deserved better. And Billie Eilish lasted a lot longer than I thought it would, I thought it was gonna be a one weeker.

Calm Down is somehow still here despite having a really bizarre countdown run.

Hopefully this is Super Annoying Girl's last week here.

I Like You has been here for over 6 months and it's still in the top 15.

Everyone's favorite tongue biting song is finally in the top 10.

With I’m Good out of the top 5, it looks like it won't hit #1. RIP.

Why is MFASR still in the top 5 after being bottom 5 in airplay?

To no one's surprise, Taylor Overrated Swift remains at #1 this week. Expect this song to be #1 for a long time. Swifties are rigging the polls and I don't see any other songs on the countdown dethroning it. Will it break the #1 record held by Shivers? Who knows. But if anyone could break it, it would be Taylor Swift.

Bye for now, see you all next week!

Debuts...or I guess re-entries:

No new debuts this week, just 2 re-entries. Sleepwalking has grown on me a lot since it left, so I'm really happy it's back. uh oh has faded on me a bit but it's still great so I'm fine that it's back.

Hitbound:

Nonsense - Sabrina Carpenter {5}

Silver Tongues - Louis Tomlinson {2}

No Love For You - Regard/Drop G {3}

i'm yours - Isabel LaRosa (Debut)

Born Again - Rihanna {2}

If Jesus Was A Rockstar - Kim Petras (Debut)

Sober - jxdn (Debut)

Weapons - Ava Max {2}

Die For You - Joji {3}

Remember - Becky Hill/David Guetta {4}

Eyes On You - Nicky Youre (Debut)

Tukoh Taka - Nicki Minaj/Maluma/Myriam Fares (Debut)

The DJ Is Crying For Help - AJR (Debut)

Rock And A Hard Place - Bailey Zimmerman {3}

Used To - Lila Drew (Debut)

Before You - Benson Boone {4}

Wow, 7 debuts, let's get started.

2 debuts from people I've never heard of. First up is Isabel LaRosa with i'm yours. Daniel from the Discord server introduced me to this song a few weeks ago, so I was already somewhat familiar with it. This song's kinda slow but the production is pretty interesting and Isabel sounds great.

Next is Lila Drew with Used To. This song is just super weird and I'm not sure why this is here.

Kim Petras is back with If Jesus Was A Rockstar. The production is pretty upbeat but nothing special and Kim sounds decent.

Ok this song is just downright bizarre. It's Tukoh Taka by Nicki Minaj, Maluma, and Myriam Fares. Apparently this song was made for the FIFA World Cup. The production is actually really good, but I am not loving the vocals. They're just repeating "Tukoh Taka" over and over again and it's very strange.

I was hoping this song would debut hitbound, and it did. It's Sober by jxdn. The pop punk production from Travis Barker is amazing and jxdn sounds great.

AJR just released a new song, so of course Hits 1 has to pick up on it. It's The DJ Is Crying For Help. This song is a bit slower than AJR's usual songs, but I still love it. It starts out slow, then a violin starts playing and it starts to get interesting. And the Met brothers sound great as always.

Now saving the best for last, we have Eyes On You by Nicky Youre. And my oh my, this song is a bop. I thought Sunroof was fun, this is about 10x more fun. The production is insanely catchy and Nicky sounds great.

Exits:

if you ask me to - charli d'amelio

Narcissist - Avery Anna

10:35  - Tiesto/Tate McRae

Hollywood Forever - Havanna Winter

Never Gonna Not Dance Again - P!nk

10:35 and Never Gonna Not Dance Again got robbed and deserved better. if you ask me to finds itself in the abyss. And the rest weren't that great.

Abyss:

Unstoppable - Sia

Die For You - The Weeknd

Power (Remember Who You Are) - SPINALL/Summer Walker/DJ Snake/Äyanna

Jimmy Cooks - Drake/21 Savage

fmk - GAYLE/blackbear

Lavender Haze - Taylor Swift

Evergreen (You Didn't Deserve Me At All) - Omar Apollo

THE LONELIEST - Måneskin

Sex, Drugs, Etc. - Beach Weather

if you ask me to - charli d'amelio

Sweater Weather - Neighbourhood

Sleep-blurbin':

We lost Late Night Talking and Numb. Good riddance to Late Night Talking, I didn't think it was ever gonna leave. Numb was good but was getting really annoying so I'm glad it's gone.

Lift Me Up keeps dropping so hopefully that means it will leave soon.

Poor Calm Down. It keeps dropping and rising. Hits 1 apparently doesn't know what to do with it.

BILLIE EILISH is lasting a lot longer here than I thought it would.

If So Boring could leave soon that would be great.

I didn't realize Until I Found You is the 4th oldest song on the countdown. It really needs to leave soon.

It looks like I'm Good didn't hit #1 this week like I thought, and it probably never will.

Victoria's Secret is added to my ever growing list of songs blocked from #1.

Anti-Hero is #1 this week. This is kinda surprising, but not really considering that this is Taylor Swift and how much Hits 1 stans her. I really like this song, but I like Lavender Haze more. This song only took 4 weeks to reach #1, which actually ties it for 3rd quickest run to #1 in countdown history. #1 being good 4 u which took 2 weeks, Sucker took 3 weeks, and Shivers also took 4 weeks. I think this song will be #1 for a while unless Unholy can take the #1 spot again.

Bye for now, see you all next week!

Least favorite song last year: Way 2 Sexy - Drake/Future/Young Thug

Most missed song: Small Bump - Ed Sheeran (2011)

Recommendation for Hits 1: Damn (You've Got Me Saying) - Galantis/David Guetta/MNEK

5 oldest songs:

5: Left And Right - Charlie Puth/Jungkook (20 weeks)

4: So Good - Halsey (22 weeks)

3: Numb - Marshmello/Khalid (22 weeks)

2: I Like You (A Happier Song) - Post Malone/Doja Cat (23 weeks)

1: Late Night Talking - Harry Styles (24 weeks)

Debuts:

Avril Lavigne's back along with Yungblud with I'm A Mess. This song has grown a lot on me since it entered hitbound last week. The production starts out slow but builds nicely and gets really cool towards the end. And Avril and Yungblud both sound great.

Selena Gomez has a second song on the countdown with My Mind & Me. This song has grown a little on me after hearing it on Hits 1 a few times. The production is kinda boring but does get more interesting towards the end, and Selena sounds really great here.

Hitbound:

Die For You - Joji {2}

Weapons - Ava Max (Debut)

Rock And A Hard Place - Bailey Zimmerman {2}

Born Again - Rihanna (Debut)

Made You Look - Meghan Trainor (Sunday Best...again for a second week)

if you ask me to - charli d'amelio {3}

Silver Tongues - Louis Tomlinson (Debut)

I'm A Mess - Avril Lavigne/Yungblud (Sunday Best)

Remember - Becky Hill/David Guetta {3}

Before You - Benson Boone {3}

Narcissist - Avery Anna {4}

10:35  - Tiesto/Tate McRae {2}

Nonsense - Sabrina Carpenter {4}

Hollywood Forever - Havanna Winter {2}

No Love For You - Regard/Drop G {2}

Never Gonna Not Dance Again - P!nk {2}

Ava Max is back with Weapons. This is easily her best song so far this year. The production is super fun and catchy, and Ava sounds amazing.

Rihanna's back...with another ballad! C'mon Rihanna, you can do better than this! Born Again is slightly better than Lift Me Up, but it's still not great. The production is just too slow and boring. And what is up with the outro, it's super weird and out of place.

Louis Tomlinson is back after the failure of Bigger Than Me with Silver Tongues. He released a song a month ago Out Of My System which I loved, and I'm kinda surprised Hits 1 didn't pick up on it. Silver Tongues is such a bop. It reminds me of indie pop songs from the 2010s. The production is super fun and upbeat and Louis sounds great.

Exits:

I Remember - Cheat Codes/Russell Dickerson {12}

Common - Quinn XCII/Big Sean {8}

I Remember spent way too long in hitbound. And Common wasn't that great.

Abyss:

Unstoppable - Sia

Die For You - The Weeknd

Power (Remember Who You Are) - SPINALL/Summer Walker/DJ Snake/Äyanna

Jimmy Cooks - Drake/21 Savage

fmk - GAYLE/blackbear

uh oh - Tate McRae

Lavender Haze - Taylor Swift

Sweater Weather - Neighbourhood

Evergreen (You Didn't Deserve Me At All) - Omar Apollo

My blurbs & me:

This week we lost Sleepwalking and Vegas. Sleepwalking was great and I'm not sure why it only lasted 4 weeks. And Vegas was here way too long so I'm glad it's finally gone.

Ok, I tried really hard to like Lift Me Up. I listened to it a bunch of times hoping it would grow on me, but it's just gotten worse. This song is just so incredibly boring, I can barely even listen to it, so it's now my least favorite song on the countdown. This song might even be worse than Glimpse Of Us. What happened Rihanna? You made some incredible songs in the 2000s and 2010s, what are you doing making these garbage ballads?

Why did So Boring just jump 4 spots? And why is Hate Night Toppling still here?

Music For A Sushi Restaurant dropped to #5. Good, go away Harry The Clown!!!

Anti Hero made a huge jump into the top 5, while Victoria's Secret jumped to #2. I really hope Victoria's Secret can get #1 next week, but Taylor or Sam will probably end up blocking it.

I'm Good didn't end up hitting #1 this week, which I'm sad about, and with the other songs that entered the top 5, I doubt it will.

To my utter amazement, Unholy jumped 7 spots to #1. I was totally not expecting this. I was convinced either I'm Good or Sushi Restaurant would be #1 this week. But I'm kinda glad Unholy was #1 this week instead. Unholy grew on me a lot this week, and it's now back as my favorite song on the countdown. It just slaps so hard, and the baseline is just really cool. Sam Smith can make some really cool songs when they're not boring. Speaking of Sam, this is their first #1 on the countdown since Stay With Me in 2014, and Kim Petras' first.

That's all for now, see you all next week!

Lizzo (3) - Week Of Nov 5, 2022

Hey guys, what's up? This was an okay week. One of the worst songs I've ever heard finally left, but one of the most annoying songs I've ever heard is still #1!

Before we get to this week's fresh 30, let's say goodbye to the songs leaving the countdown:
Wrapped Around Your Finger - Post Malone (#22) (3 weeks) [peak: 22]
Don’t Let The Light Go Out - Panic! At The Disco (#14) (10 weeks) [peak: 9]
Evergreen (You Didn't Deserve Me At All) - Omar Apollo (#30) (3 weeks) [peak: 30]

19: Sleepwalking - All Time Low (+1) (4 weeks) [peak: 19]
18: CUFF IT - Beyoncé (+8) (3 weeks) [peak: 18]
17: Anti-Hero - Taylor Swift (+7) (2 weeks) [peak: 17]
16: Super Freaky Girl - Nicki Minaj (+1) (12 weeks) [peak: 14]

Countdown Extra: Before You  - Benson Boone

Biggest Jump Of The Week: CUFF IT - Beyoncé (+8)

Biggest...DRRRRRRROP!!! Of The Week: Tie between So Good - Halsey and Left And Right - Charlie Puth/Jungkook (-6)

Last year's #1 song: Shivers - Ed Sheeran (3/14 long weeks at #1)

Favorite song last year: Hurricane - Cheat Codes/Grey/Tyson Ritter

Least favorite song last year: Way 2 Sexy - Drake/Future/Young Thug

Most missed song: First Night of My Life - Lucas Prata/Lenny B (2012)

Recommendation for Hits 1: Never Let You Go - Jason Derulo/Shouse

5 oldest songs:

5: Left And Right - Charlie Puth/Jungkook (19 weeks)

4: So Good - Halsey (21 weeks)

3: Numb - Marshmello/Khalid (21 weeks)

2: I Like You (A Happier Song) - Post Malone/Doja Cat (22 weeks)

1: Late Night Talking - Harry Styles (23 weeks)

Debuts:

Rihanna makes her first appearance on Hits 1 in 5 years since Wild Thoughts in 2017, with Lift Me Up. This song has grown on me a little since last week, but I'm still not a big fan of it. The production is just way too slow, the only thing that saves it is Rihanna's amazing voice.

Meghan Trainer's back after 3 years with Made You Look. It's pretty fun and upbeat, like her earlier songs like All About That Bass. This song has grown a little on me this past week, but something tells me this song's gonna get really annoying really quickly.

After being in the abyss for weeks, BILLIE EILISH by Armani White finally debuts. It's slightly faded on me, but I still love it, and it's easily the best song on the countdown. This song just slaps so hard. I just wish it was longer, it's barely a minute and a half long.

Hitbound:

Hollywood Forever - Havanna Winter (Debut)

Never Gonna Not Dance Again - P!nk (Debut)

I Remember - Cheat Codes/Russell Dickerson

if you ask me to - charli d'amelio

10:35 - Tiesto/Tate McRae (Debut)

Narcissist - Avery Anna

Made You Look - Meghan Trainor (Sunday Best)

I'm A Mess - Avril Lavigne/Yungblud (Debut)

No Love For You - Regard/Drop G (Debut)

My Mind & Me - Selena Gomez (Debut)

Before You  - Benson Boone

Common - Quinn XCII/Big Sean

Nonsense - Sabrina Carpenter

Die For You - Joji (Debut)

Rock And A Hard Place - Bailey Zimmerman (Debut)

Remember - Becky Hill/David Guetta

Ewwww, I don't think anyone asked for more Joji. He's back with Die For You. Yeah, this song really sucks, maybe even more than Glimpse Of Us. It's insanely boring, and the song does not evolve whatsoever, and Joji sounds terrible. This better not become a hit.

P!nk's back on Hits 1 after 3 years after Walk Me Home in 2019, with Never Gonna Not Dance Again. This song is insanely fun and P!nk sounds great. Hopefully this can become a hit.

Bruh, Hits 1, can you stop trying to make Havanna Winter a thing? She's back with Hollywood Forever. This is way better than rain rain go away and Heaven to Me. The production's pretty upbeat and Havanna sounds decent.

Tiesto and Tate McRae team up for 10:35. I am in love with this song. It reminds me a lot of The Motto from earlier this year. The production from Tiesto is really cool and Tate sounds great.

Avril Lavigne's back along with Yungblud, with I'm A Mess. This one's pretty good. It's a really good ballad from Avril, it reminds me a lot of her other ballads in the 2000s, Complicated and My Happy Ending. Avril and Yungblud both sound great, and I really like the pop punk production. I wouldn't mind if this became a hit.

Selena Gomez is finally back with her first solo song in 2 years, with My Mind & Me. I'm not really a big fan of this. The production is extremely slow and doesn't evolve that much. Selena sounds decent but is oversinging in some parts.

Regard is back with No Love For You. This is a really cool EDM song. I really like Regard's production and the drop is really cool. Also, this song sounds almost exactly the same as The Business from last year.

Last is country singer Bailey Zimmerman making his first appearance on Hits 1 with Rock And A Hard Place. This is a pretty good country song, but I'm not sure why Hits 1 picked up on it.

Exits:

Bad Idea - Dove Cameron

dumb dumb - mazie

LOVE ABOUT IT - Waterparks/blackbear

Heaven to Me - Havanna Winter

SIMPLY THE BEST - Black Eyed Peas/Anitta/El Alfa

100 degrees - kenzie

WDIA (Would Do It Again) - Rosa Linn/Duncan Laurence

C'mon, Hits 1, Simply The Best deserved more than 1 week in hitbound! The rest I don't really care about.

Abyss:

Unstoppable - Sia

Die For You - The Weeknd

Power (Remember Who You Are) - SPINALL/Summer Walker/DJ Snake/Äyanna

Jimmy Cooks - Drake/21 Savage

fmk - GAYLE/blackbear

uh oh - Tate McRae

Sweater Weather - Neighbourhood

Sweater Weather isn't technically in the abyss, but it is getting a significant amount of airplay, and I love it, so I'm counting it.

Made you blurb:

We lost Wrapped Around Your Finger (for a second time), Don’t Let The Light Go Out, and Evergreen. Good riddance, Evergreen is finally gone. Don’t Let The Light Go Out really sucked so I'm glad it's gone. And I'm not sure why Wrapped Around Your Finger left as it was still getting a lot of airplay.

Okay, why did Hate Night Toppling jump 5 spots?

Calm Down has been here for almost 10 weeks and hasn't gotten higher than #23.

I would really like for I’m Good to hit #1 instead of 🍣.

And Lizzo is annoyingly still at #1. This song really needs to leave #1 (and the countdown) soon before I hate it.

That's all for now, see you all next week!
